Isn't it sad,that if a person states anything,about anything,these nasty people will actually just beat you up.Our world today is something else.The sad thing they hide,so you never really know them.Glad I don't know them,their not my kind of person I would want to know.

I have no idea what you're talking about. I don't see anyone getting beaten up. If things get contentious on a thread, all one has to do is back off and quit posting on that thread.

Some posters just can not cope with an alternative view.

If they love a host or a product, the expectation is that everyone else will chime in with agreement.

That's very naive and not how a very, very public forum works.

I agree with you. It seems that some people have anger management issues. If you have a different view they snap at you with their responses.

We all have different opinions and I enjoy hearing others. But there's a way to state an opinon without insulting those who have a different view.

If you are in any way sensitive @bewise , regarding what people think of your viewpoints, the internet is the last place to go to for agreement. It's like the Wild West and appears it won't change anytime soon.😳

Many times an OP will be attacked for stating his/her viewpoint instead of just disagreeing with the stated viewpoint. Totally unnecessary and disrespectful to attack a poster, IMO.

I enjoy the forums and try to respect other's opinions . I admit sometimes there are posts which I do not agree with or want to respond to in a harsh manner. However, I realize I don' know anyone's situation or am not involved in their personal lives, why would I be harsh and negative toward them on a post.

I do believe in speaking my mind and being honest but it has to be done in a way that is diplomatic and not hurting someone.

Sometimes posts are tone-deaf, sometimes clueless and sometimes mean. I've often thought the worst offenders have no idea how they come across. They are reprimanded time and time again but continue to post (prolifically). So, yes, move on. There's enough good stuff going on here to make the forums worthwhile.

I don't care what people like. Their opinion doesn't bother me at all. What I can't stand is when WOMEN use words like dumpy, hobo, homely, trash, etc. to describe Q fashions knowing other WOMEN may like/love & wear. These words trigger me. Stop tearing WOMEN down.

It was a figure of speech and I saw nothing nefarious about her intentions @Love my grandkids. She was expressing how ridiculously priced the shorts are on QVC. I inferred that..

I think her history here has always been respectful.

It's not just here. It is people in general. I posted to a thread in a 50’s dating group on FB, and a couple of hours later, people had looked me up online, and we were calling me on my phone. All because they disagreed with my comment. I was amazed at how far some people will go.

Then why not just say that the prices are getting ridiculously high? No need to say that anyone who buys them is not in their right mind. I certainly wasn't insulted - it's not really that important to me what people say or think here. In my opinion it just wasn't nice to say.

EXACTLY @shoechic - these Forums are QVC property.

The primary purpose is to service/support QVC stakeholders which includes QVC and HSN CUSTOMERS.

There are posters that specifically target hosts, vendors and customers to post inflammatory comments and insults. It's become worse and it's inappropriate.
