New hosts

i knew it had to happen again! New host Monifa started off so calm and pleasant, but now she's all hyped up and 'excited about everything' when she has her shows. It just isn't necessary to rev up the hosts until some of them are so exhausted they have to take time off, Jen Coffey had become so hard-sell before Christmas, she was unwatchable. It just doesn't work for me.

I don't know 90% of the hosts anymore. I look at the products on line. If it is something interesting, I watch the presentation.

I imagine Monifa has gotten the word from the powers that be to ramp up the hype. Time and again they seem to let go of the hosts who appeal to me the most such as Katie, Gabriella, Stacey and many others who were pleasant, informed and non screamers.

I much prefer the hosts who don't push, or are hard to,listen to.....like Rachel, Jen, and um.....Jane. There should be more sweet ladies like Mary Beth, Vanessa and Sandra.

I haven''t seen Monifa yet, but if she's anything like JC and KL, I think I'll pass. I started to watch some of their shows yesterdy (among other times), but my old ears just can't keep up with their speed talking. They all could use some voice coaching, IMHO.

It eventually happens. I love Katrina Szish but it seems she's starting to show these signs. I don't think Shawn gets pushy or hyped up. Can't stand CoCo or JC ... everything about them is ugh.

I am starting to think that maybe we are in the minority. So many hosts that I use to enjoy that I just don't care for their presentation styles anymore. Some of them I just will not watch. I just cant. The other night was a double whammy for me the host and the vendor were one's that I chose to ignore, so I just purchased my items online without viewing.

Perhaps being over the top, super awesome, great, excitement is what the majority of viewers want and management believes that it sells.

I've watched Rosina Grosso a total of about 15 minutes and she got on my nerves bigtime. Too much phony perkiness. She reminds me of Julia Cearly who I also don't watch.

Will not watch any of the 3 new hosts, I have seen no professionalism from Monifa, Vanessa or Rosina....and all are a bore. These 3 are not the only hosts I refuse to watch...

I would not call these 3 ladies unprofessional by any means @ScarletDove . They are all doing a good job and I don't find any of them to be "boring" either.

I just saw Monifa for the first time this morning while watching a Valerie video (after finding the right time zone I will add!).

Shows how much I haven't been watching. I guess she has been here for a year or so?

Anyway I thought she was very good. To me she sounded like a normal person commenting on things, and has a nice voice.

Not fake excitement or an act or acting like viewers are stupid or yelling. Lol Did I miss any irritating-oh, nor admiring self in monitor, or trying to relate a story to the product that has nothing to do with it or not letting vendor talk.

What I wished both she and Valerie had mentioned was what the eucalyptus rings were made out of! Were they plastic or fabric? It doesn't even say online! I mean I would hope they weren't plastic but I wouldn't buy anything online if I didn't know important details like that.

It seems the hosts who yell, scream, talk over each other are the ones who sell the most & the ones they keep. Mary Beth & Sandra are about the only ones I watch anymore. I actually prefer HSN hosts.

Sorry, but the last three host that were hired leave a lot to be desired. They have been added to the list of hosts that I don't watch. Online is really the way to go, if i shop this site at all. There are only a few shows for the brands that I will watch and when these new hosts are on I just change the channel or shop on line. QVC made a big mistake in letting some of the seasoned hosts go and bringing in these ladies and keeping some that really should have been retired. Not trying to be mean, just my opinion.
