Return/Refund

I purchased an item for $44.86 with free shipping, on easy pay, with $3.14 tax. I returned the item and paid the shipping charge myself. I made one easy pay payment of $9.60. My refund was $2.65. Can anyone explain why my refund was not $9.60? Thanks for your help.

If you did pay the return shipping yourself and did not use the QVC return label, then they mistakenly charged you $6.95 as if you did indeed use their label. Unfortunately it happens seemingly a lot. You need to contact QVC and get a refund.

Best scenario ... call CS to discuss and they can issue a refund.

Email the QVCSocialTeam@qvc.com they will straighten it out for you immediately.

They are truly the best of the Q customers service.

Or the next time you return something email qvceasyreturns@qvc.com with all the information order number reason for return item number and why you are returning the item.

you get a refund within 3 daysid an exchanging they send the exchange before they even get your return back. Works wonderfully I have done it a few times.

@January23 They should not have deducted a return label fee but you aren't entitled to get back the original cost for QVC to ship it to you. So unless there was free shipping on the item, if your first EZ pay was $9.60 you won't be getting $9.60 back. They'll deduct $3.50 or whatever the shipping was.

It appears that this happens often from reading these boards. Many unsuspecting customers encounter this from QVC. It has happened to me. Other online companies do not make these errors in charging customers for shipping when they choose to pay the rtn postage their own way instead of using the prepaid mailing label.

Happened to me once. I paid return shipping on a small item and was charged for their return label anyway. Had to call for a refund.

Sounds like a mix up with the label. You can call them and explain that you paid the return postage.

I recently returned a rain jacket for a larger size. I checked online before I returned it to check availability. It was available in the same color. My request was for a larger size, same color. Well weeks passed and I was issued a refund under $4 saying it is not available. Today it still shows as being stock. I was charged for the FREE exchange so ended up with a small refund. Urgh!!

QVC is notorious for not always giving credit for return postage when you return using your own postage. I usually pay upfront postage on items that weigh under 13 ounces and the package can be folded to the correct mailing size. Since I live in CA and items can be returned to the Ontario CA warehouse most items 13 oz and under can be returned for less than $5 postage first class.

in other words be diligent and email the social team to get it straightened out. What irks me the most is they don't give a breakdown of the return whereas HSN gives a total breakdown.
