Seems Q is rushing through summer and moving on to the winter months.

There's nothing than turns me off more than to see Christmas decorations and people wishing each other Merry Christmas in June/July.

I love Christmas. But in December.

I love Christmas. But in December.

I Love Christmas year round and belong to a group that does as well. We send Christmas in July cards every year. I also play Christmas music and watch Christmas movies all year as well. I am not wishing time away, these are just the things we enjoy.

Thank you! Amen to that. (of COURSE, to each their own, whatever you enjoy...)

For me...I'm good with not even thinking about it until Thanksgiving is over. ie. December! That's plenty. Because there is SO much more, particularly in summer on the shoreline, in the Northeast, where we pine for Spring and Summer weather, so many other seasonal things during each month to focus on and enjoy. That's where my attention is....in the moment.

I will say...years ago, we'd be in Cape Cod in July, and sometimes, when I'd come in from the pool, and was resting or getting ready to go out...I'd put on CIJ on QVC, because it was "happy" and I was still buying a few Christmas chotchkes then...I'm over it...and I have simplified my decor, and have plenty. Also, I've inherited some sentimental Christmas treasures from my mom...they mean the most.

No CIJ on Hallmark for me either~Take me to the beach! 😎🌊🏖🌞🐚

Ugh, on this same note...got a Facebook notification, because I follow Lisa Robertson's company, and purchase a few items occasionally...every Monday she has a preview of things they are featuring in her online store that week. Well....(and mind you she started her company, 5 years ago, based on these fabulous Christmas trees she found at the Atlanta gift show, and wanted to buy, but had to buy an entire case of them...so she says "ok, I'll start a company and sell them!)...the rest is hi$tory.

...so fastforward and needless to say she LOVES Christmas...so tonight in her Facebook preview chat....she has a decorated Christmas tree up...and of course they will have CIJ items. I tuned right out. I really, really am NOT into Christmas "browsing" or even thinking about it, in summer....I just don't want to see Christmas trees up until December!

But I know...blah blah blah....that's just me, and so I tune out. Obviously, plenty of people enjoy tuning in and buying, and it must be working out for them, or she and QVC wouldn't be doing it.

I don't understand the vitriol around CIJ. I happen to love it! I love VPH, and I pre-order the holiday Germack so I have a nice gift from me, to me, in November.

I think it was crazy planning, not expecting sales with Covid. The Q just ran out of summer apparrel. So...they'll just sell us winter clothing all summer and put it on not much of a clearance.
