Those shows that presented things for a few minutes (hate the loooong presentations)

What I miss is the '50/50 Tours' they did around AMERICA, introducing new and unique products from different states, here in our homeland.

Let's support OUR country!

Yes, prices would be higher, but Patriotism has always had a cost, most of which were much higher that a few $$$.

I miss the previews and the reviews

I also miss the meticulous way an item was presented. All the details were shown & explained.

I guess that would be too boring now, we're expected to go to the website to get details, which are sometimes lacking as well.

Why have a TV channel when you have to go to the website for information?

@Group 5 minus 1 I agree. I always enjoyed the previews. No idea why they quit doing it but oh well.

There are still some shows that do give previews, in fact, this past Sunday's Pat & Dan Show (Carolyn filled in for a vactioning Pat), they DID give a preview.... I guess its up to that show's Producer on how the show rolls....

I miss the relaxed atmosphere, with ad libs and humor. Now everything is hard sell. That's why I stopped watching. And, yes, I miss quality products that didn't break, rip, or poop-out before you knew it.

I miss the flow of the show....................they showed new products about every 5 mins......now it is from 10 to 15 mins for the SAME ITEM......and forget the TSV presentations....it isn't worth my time to sit for an hour and

see 6 items or at times less.

And i miss seeing the models in the clothing and their being able to do their job as opposed to the hosts changing every outfit presentation and posing,etc........I think if i was a model i would wonder "why am i here" ?? haha.

QVC used to have a greater variety of products, unique products and things that you didn't see everywhere.....

And as an example, David's Home Show on Thursdays is getting to be a rerun of Q2's Big Deals that apparently didn't sell very well, and Im also seeing the same old products repeated on this show, therefore, I am changing the channel and not watching QVC as much these days........(portable plug in LED lights, tablets, the shower head system, the battery storage case...😴ZZZZZZZZ)...

And on the weekends it seems its always mattresses or vacuums.....

I miss the SHORTER TSV presentations!!!!

The loooooooooooooooooonnnnngggg TSV presentations seem to take up the majority of the show time....and if the first presentation wasn't enough....there's a second one.... So even if there's something in the show you are interested in...people get bored and turn the channel and dont turn it back to QVC and sales are lost....( I understand people watch QVC at different times, but the TSV is presented in EVERY show and its just OVERKILL as these presentations go on and on...)

I miss letting the models of various shapes and heights model the clothing!!! Hosts need not take on this job!!!

If the host isnt your size or body type the host modeling doesnt do much to entice sales....And the vendor saying, the regular size will do fine for petites---ummm it doesnt ALWAYS---PROVE IT IF IT DOES by having that model show it!!! I have been burned by vendors...

I used to learn tips and new ideas ,especially in cooking and fashion shows. I was excited about a TSV and stayed up late to see what it was. I liked that they sold items I could not buy everywhere. Some shows were unique. Prices were more reasonable.

I also liked a reliable, knowledgeable, customer service. Now I wonder if I will get someone who is helpful or trys to get me off the line ASAP and can not assist or just says send it back. I rarely call or chat.

Shipping really happened in 7 to 10 days and buy one get one half price in shipping. Clothing came in boxes especially from designers not just thrown in a bag. I got to see celebrities and designers like Diane Furstenberg and Mary McFadden, Linda Dano and Koos.

If change is good not all changes at Q are good. On line competition is out there. I spent alot of money over the years and the customer appreciation is non existent. I spend alot less now.

Things changed because of all the reasons that you gave in your comments through the years, The lack of buying certain products like Koos,Linda and others. I remember the cooking shows where they cooked and there were people who did't like that part of the show. Bob and David cooked now we don't see them do that at all. They use to have October Fest and a Founder's Day show that was all collectibles. Our buying power changed and so did everything else. The powers that be did exactly what you wanted when you complained about or what you no longer wanted to buy.

I am probably in the minority. While I did like the 50/50 tours. I actually don't miss anything really. I hated that you could only call when an item was presented then when that changed, I often didn't get all the necessary info from the short presentations but now I can just go online. Tracking wasn't available either - it came when it came and there were no complaints! There was way too much frivolous stuff like dolls, things to decorate with that had really no use but was just stuff, way too much jewelry and conservative clothing and many junky items that didn't do what they said they did that I bought thinking they would work to make cleaning or cooking and baking easier! Never liked wasting time watching and watching for that one item from the preveiw to be presented. I also didn't like the cookie cutter style of hosts back then!

The 50/50 tours: oh I remember that, I used to leave QVC on practically 24/7 when my kids were little. It was relaxing to have it on in the background.

Those mattress and vacuum days are a real snooze fest. And you can throw in curling/straightning irons, ANY kind of make-up or recliners.
