Host not prepared

Just received my Side Stitch gauze dress in the wrong colour thanks to the host who gave out incorrect information.

I am keeping dress as colour I wanted, of course, sold out. I kept looking at information but both host and vendor repeated colours incorrectly so went with their details.
I wanted the denim blue colour which they kept calling Iris so assumed this to be correct received the Iris dress which is white. Still incorrect on video.

Very annoying but I like the dress!

I hope it works out for you. Side Stitch is not cheap. I'm not surprised about the snafu. I cannot understand much of anything that host says. She mumbles, talks too fast and does not have a good broadcasting voice. I mute the show when she is the host. Then I go to QVC .com to get the pertinent information.

@dulwich So sorry that happened but I'm glad you like the dress. Who were the host and vendor who had it wrong?

@Pearlee It was our 'Aim' (not with Lor though)! and she was actually wearing the colour I thought I ordered described by her and vendor. Ah well mistakes happen!

I watched that presentation, maybe if she didn't talk so fast and wasn't worried about her own purchase, it would've been correct .

@dulwich I'm not surprised.🙄 I wonder if she has ever gone over her description cards to prepare for her shows.

They probably go by their cards. If the colors online were incorrect and the cards then I blame the coordinator. Esp if the vendor was incorrect also.

She seemed very confident in the colors. Considering not only didn’t the vendor not correct her, but the producer in her ear makes me wonder if the error was down the line and not necessarily Amy’s fault. Regardless, I’ve always thought someone should tag the items with the correct color. I’m sure many people will be unhappy they got the wrong color.

I kept yelling at the TV, "no, you have the colors wrong!" and then assumed the vendor would correct her, but she didn't! I looked it up online and they had them wrong at first there, too. Now I see it's been corrected.

I knew a lot of people would end up with a dress in the wrong color. I'm sorry one of them was you.

What good is a Vendor rep if SHE can't get the colors right?

And it wasn't just Amy, the Producer corrected her INCORRECTLY in her ear.

Everyone got this wrong!

Sorry you got the wrong color. Maybe within 30 days, your correct color will come back in your size...keep watching it...then contact the mods to order it for you should it come back in stock.

@RealtyGal2 as noted the clors were initially incorrect online also

@ellaphant Your post tells me, among other things, that you don't watch Amy much. She is so ill prepared hosting LOGO shows and makes so many errors, including mispronouncing words, that I've pretty much stopped watching LOGO shows and only look at product reviews. If only it were "A" mistake per your post.

After reading all this posts I understood this is was not her mistake. It was wrong info given to her and on-line also.
