Couldn't Help But Notice...

Watching ITKWM and Temptations today I couldn't help but notice:

1. Neither Tara nor Lisa (?) were wearing masks nor were they social distancing, especially since QVC makes a point of how they are following those rules and that's why all the guests are doing the shows remotely. I don't think living 5 houses apart extempts you or maybe it does. ?? They also seemed to be acting a little bit giggly and silly. I turned it off. Just my opinion so sorry if some of you disagree.

2. On both shows I noticed that, with some items, they only showed one or two samples live, only showed you picures of the other color choices/styles, and/or then directed you to the website to see the other choices. Seeing a picture is not the same as seeing it live. Boo! Hope this isn't a new trend. Again, just my opinion so sorry if some of you disagree.

Wonder if this will get deleted?

Yes, they were side by side. That's what they said in the presentation. They live 5 houses apart and in the same "bubble."

That's interesting - do they live together despite their houses being separate? Just a guess. Never heard of a bubble encompassing a neighborhood,

I saw someone posted something similar on Facebook vilifying someone on a show for no one wearing masks....

They said they were all tested before the show

I don't think they live together and never suggested that. I'm just repeating what they said on air, that they live 5 houses apart like in the same bubble. Maybe becauses they're neighbors that exempts them or something?? I dont know but that wasnt the point. Watch the repeat when it airs and listen for yourself. My point was that they weren't social distancing nor wearing masks when everyone else is doing things remotely.

@Nataliesgramma Yes, that's what many places do. Have everyone tested beforehand. Have no clue about Tara and Lisa.

The COVID "bubble" is used to describe the group of people you've been hanging out with safely since the beginning of the pandemic, which can include family members or friends if you're spending significant amounts of time together. Since Tara and Lisa work together every day and are also close neighbors who hang out, share meals, and do other activities in each other's homes the same way that they would if they lived in the same home, they are in a bubble together.

(As another example, I have a sister who lives just a couple of blocks from me, and we frequently spend time together and exercise the typical COVID precautions whenever we're not together, so we're in the same bubble. But other family members who live farther away and whom I see far less frequently are not in the same bubble, so we all still wear masks and socially distance and really limit our gatherings. And I don't see any friends or co-workers often enough for any of them to be in a bubble with me.)

As far as the Q2 approach to its new live programming, I enjoy the banter and the variety of shows versus the main channel, but from a product perspective, it is a complete waste of time because you never get to really see the details of products or variations. Why would I want to watch an image of someone clicking through colors and styles just like I would on my computer? Anyway, I've posted about this several times in these forums, so to avoid adding further negativity, I'll just say I'm definitely not a fan of this idea.

If they said they were tested prior to the show I didn't hear that and I stand corrected on that point.

Thanks for those who have enlightened me. I wasn't aware of any pretesting being done and wasn't clear on the definition of a bubble. It clears that up. Thanks.

Does the CDC exempt people living in t h e same neighborhood? Dont think I've heard about such a thing. Tara is completely full of herself...Ms. Important. My TV goes off when she appears.
