Louis Dell Olio fashions not on the Q anymore????

I visited Louis Dell Olio's blog last night and most postings are gone, but was sensing that QVC is not ordering any more of his fashions...is this true??? If so, I am sorely disappointed. I loved most of his things - they were classy. True - not everything on the Q is for everyone, but I loved his whisper knit sweaters. Does anyone know anything about this??

I guess I don't check this forum often enough...so sad, though, as I loved his fashions. Oh well..another good one bites the dust.

Haven't seen much Bob Mackie lately either. Was looking forward to some leather and leather trim items from him this winter. Am I just missing it?

I think he was on a couple of times near the end of last month. But lately he seems to only have a one hour show on one day when he is here, as opposed to a few shows in one day like he used to.

@Gkhm It's a shame you are so uninformed. QVC made this decision awhile ago, Louis delayed making his announcement until December 2020. It had absolutely nothing to do with politics.

Most likely the profit margin wasn't high enough for the Q. They make far more $$ on low end items like Denim & Co. (which to me is awful!) and Susan Graver, to name a few. Louis was classy and his clothes well made and elegant. I wouldn't give 2 cents for D & C.

What he says on his personal blog has nothing to do with QVC, he never got political here.

Go figure, Lisa Rinna is still here, even after all of the nasty things she said about the women who buy from QVC on Instagram and her social media blogs.

IMO, that was much more egregious and a total insult of QVC and it's customers.

Linea has the highest ratings out of any clothing line! It is also the best-made clothing on the Q. QVC has ALWAYS made things difficult for Louis. THey have never given him a regular time slot and notoriously schedule his airings in the middle of the night. They have been extremely UNFAIR to him and to his customers. Shameful.

Seeing as Louis is leaving QVC ..I jumped on a couple of his

things that I had been looking at for a while ... just received

today .. the paid blazer that Mary Beth wore at Christmas time ..

OMG .. I cannot believe how fabulous the fabric is .. divine ...

and the fit is absolutely fantastic ... can't say enough about it ..

also picked up the riding jacket in purple .. same thing ...

fabulous jacket .. the cut and style is perfect ... fit .. great ..

such a shame to lose this ....

@Effie54. I beg to differ. Denim & Co. clothing is more casual and utilitarian but it is not "low end". It is just as well made as Linea items and from a practical standpoint, meets the needs of more women.
