IS QVC STILL ON NETWORK TV

Have been watching QVC on network TV, NOT cable, for many years in northern NJ for many years on channel 31-5. HSN, the sister station is on 31-6. As off yesterday, QVC is no longer broadcasting on 31-5. LAFF TV is instead, but HSN is still on 31-6. Has QVC moved to another NETWORK channel or are they no longer on NETWORK tv I do NOT have cable. Thank you.

I hope you find it. Before I had Cable, I never had access to QVC. I got rid of cable and went to streaming services and its available on Amazon prime via firestick.

@thecuriousegg You can get it through Roku or Amazon Fire stick. Iknow that don't answer your question, but if you have either of those you can get it that way.

All the QVC channels stream on YouTube as well. Just another option for you in case your "over the air" is gone.

It sill comes up through my antenna TV in Wisconsin on 55.5 HSN is on 55.6

We get both QVC and HSN using our over the air antenna. Also get them on Directv.

Rescan your channels. The lineup may have changed recently, If QVC has moved, the rescan will re eat it's new location.

@thecuriousegg Sometimes you just need to wait a day or two and things return to normal.

WPXN-TV's Wikipedia page shows digital channel 31.5 = QVC and 31.6 = HSN. But that may be out of date. You can try contacting the company and asking what is going on.

WPPX-TV in Philadelphia is another ION-owned and operated station. HSN is 61-4, and QVC was recently moved from 61-5 to 61-6; LAFF moved in to 61-5. ... Strange to insert a sitcom channel between two shopping channels.

At any rate, it seems ION Television is moving things around on its digital channels.

Unfortunately looks like LAFF replaced QVC on 31.5. That's where I watched also and can't find QVC OTA anywhere in the NYC area.

Odd since LAFF is also on 7.3 Over The Air.

laff is also on 33-002, so that makes 3 channels, but no QVC

@thecuriousegg - You may have already tried this, but just in case, here's a link to QVC's channel finder: https://www.qvc.com/content/channel-finder.html

The information is updated fairly frequently, so if there isn't an over-the-air option for QVC in your area when you search, keep checking every few days—sometimes there will be a transition period when a station is not available at all as it moves from one channel to another. Good luck!

@loriqvc:; The channel finder only lists cable services. We are all looking for over-the-air channels. There is an earlier forum topic with the same problem in other cities. So far, QVC has not responded to the over-the-air problem.

@socrates2 - Ah, good to know. Since I watch QVC through the Roku app, I hadn't checked the channel finder recently for my zip code. Interestingly, it lists channels for two providers that don't even serve my area. QVC (and Q2) have terrible signals in my city and only offer standard definition service, so that's why I typically watch via app.

@thecuriousegg. There was a thread on this subject yesterday. There seems to be a problem nationwide with QVC disappearing on over-the-air TV. Maybe the contract they had with local stations ended with 2020. I do still get HSN. They continue to shoot themselves in the foot.

I'm not getting it in Albuquerque.

I too watch QVC over-the-top. In Boston, the Q and HSN appear appear as subchannels of our ION affiliate, channel 68. QVC over-the-air does not "own" the stations they broadcast on; t's up to the whims of any station's owner what they broadcast.

However, it may be just an issue of rescan being. A couple of years ago the FCC had all broadcast stations move their digital channels, and everybody in Boston had to rescan. Every local station in Boston, except ION channel 68, chose the same day to switch and told viewers in advance. Channel 68 is basically a robot, so one day their signal was bam, gone. I rescaned and found it ( but on a weaker signal, boo!)

I tried asking the question on the QVC live chat. The first answer I got was about cable. I said, "No, over-the-air" "antenna." The answer was that they were sorry, but they didn't have that information.

Has anyone found out more?

QVC has finally reappeared Over The Air (antenna/network) in New Jersey - channel is 48.4 based out of Secaucus. Yay!
