Quintessential - the new host buzzword?

Please stop! I'm not watching the Q that often lately, but it seems every time I do tune in, no matter who the host is, they use the word quintessential over and over! It's becoming the latest overused word that stops meaning anything.

It is a good word when used properly. It almost like they just learned a new word and try to use it as much as they can. Another example is iconic.

I stopped watching when the expression, as well, was used constantly by hosts and vendors and after awhile that is all I heard. I know it isn't easy to find different words and expressions to use but the hosts hang on for dear life to many just like the repetitive tiresome selling points.

I can't recall hearing hosts use the word.

They very well may have, and it just didn't stand out. I confess, when I watch, I'm focused on the product, much more, than the sales spiel.

Now its autumnal; anything red, orange, gold, brown. A necessity for picking pumpkins - LOL!!
