right now I have Extreme Couponing on TLC....

while I have seen these programs before...its still better then hours of Kindle and Dell....

You'd think out of 48 hours of potential programming options they'd be able to come up with one lousy hour to tempt... Nope. Zilch. Of course, the seemingly mandatory devoting of six full and untold of partial hours each day to their single mind-numbing TSV electronic gizmo does rather limit other programming options. Sadly, it appears they'll never change.

Depends. I've had all the beauty and silver and fashion I want to see for another month. Actually, maybe longer if watching means maybe buying. I'm into winnowing beauty and jewelry and I refuse to add wardrobe before the spring fashions show up, so I might as well look at electronics and household items and food.

Sounds to me like some folks aren't in shopping mode, so the whole 'might as well' thing doesn't quite work for those that are... Fall's just underway, but instead of fall fashions, decor, accessories, and so on, we're treated to an entire weekend of electronics. No. I might as well not watch at all, and in fact, I'm not...

And really, it was bad enough when the awful programming WAS just on weekends, but oh my, how they've expanded...

looking at the program guide if they aren't showing the Kindle....its Chaz....or Josie...or some other beauty product....I never watch any beauty shows...never ever....why is it when Chaz is in town...or Philosophy they get two and three hours at one time and then several times a day.....who is buying all that stuff...

I don't wear make-up...nor do I use any fancy hair products....how much does everyone have in their stash of beauty products....what a fortune must be spent....it amazes me....

QVC and HSN have so many beauty shows now it is absurd! It seems like every time I check HSN there is Amy Morrison oooing and aaaing and Wowing.

Now QVC is starting to follow suit as if Tuesday night beauty is not enough.

I agree. I didn't watch more than a few minutes yesterday since I didn't want to "fall for" the LG TSV. I have had to return almost everything I have purchased from that line--may be great, but doesn't work for me. Home all day today and never put QVC on. Times have changed--I watched so much in the past. (and purchased a lot)

I couldn't believe they had 3 hours of WEN on today. QVC just has too much repetitive programming. The glory days of the 90s will likely never return sadly.

I agree!!! I flipped over a few times to see what was on. I couldn't believe how many x I saw WEN. I can't stand to look at him, so I flipped on past,lol.

I think the thing people are not seeing in the before shots is that the hair has not been brushed or styled and when you see the after it clearly says with professional styling.

The same is true for the makeup. The before shots are all in bad lighting and have nothing at all on the face. The after is good lighting and full makeup.

Has anyone noticed when they put something on the hand to show how it smooth's the skin that the before is the open hand, after they put the magic cream on they close the fist and stretch the top of the hand to look smoother.

The Ortho heel rep. Notice how the models stand with their feet and leg turned inward and then when they put the shoe on they straighten out the foot and leg and try to make you think it is the shoe. Try it and you will see what I am talking about.

Of course women look bad in the before because they make them look that way.

I hardly have the time to watch QVC anymore or TV shows for that matter... I feel bad for women who have nothing to do but, watch QVC day and night.

I channel surf during commercials on other programs.

I can't remember the last time I watched QVC on a weekend, except for AM Style on Saturday mornings. I don't even watch ITKWD any more, since the products seem to just repeat every week. You have to admire the hosts for being able to go on the air week after week and try to sell the same products over and over.

Hi circles --- and what i don't get--- they already have so many beauty products and so many beauty shows---and continuously had new brands like there isn't enough!!! Now I know women have different preferences in their brand of choice---but these SAME brands are repeated SO OFTEN---so how much makeup can you buy and use and where do you store it all!!!! And as for those so called "miracle" products if they really worked everyone would look like a 16 year old.... I read one thread where the person said after spending a fortune on all these serums she found what worked the best was a $3 jar of Ponds that she used as a teenager.... By all means we need to take care of our skin-- but some are just a waste of money, and there is not even much difference in the before and after photos....IMHO

Hi Daysdee---between the poor quality and boring programming QVC is becoming less and less of a shopping option...there are only a couple of vendors I enjoy....
