Regarding #HostsAtHome

Wish JaneT would show her collection of dresses 👗 on social media #HostsAtHome. Follow her on Instagram and she does posts photos once in awhile with her daughters wearing cute dresses.

I would rather see closets of so many QVC buyers who have accumulated enough clothing, shoes, handbags, lotions and potions enough for a village. Not to show off, but as part of a humbling and healing process. And I am a member of this club.

I think many of the hosts are relunctant to show their homes/things because it will show an oppulent lifestyle. These people are out there to connet with us. (most of whom are not mllionaires)

Not remotely interested to see a host's home. I don't get this fascination/conection to sales people on TV. Questions of 'where is so and so' if they are not on air, elated if a host is pregnant, constant comments/questions about what a host said. Geeeeeez!

Well of course QVC encourages it! It's a marketing tactic, pure and simple. The hosts are not your friends. They're sales people, doing what it takes to get you to buy what they're selling. If they have to adopt a certain "on-air" persona to gain your confidence and get you to purchase, it's just all part of the job.

Whatever persona the hosts present may be nothing like who they really are. They want you to "love" and "trust" them. Marketing 101..

Really? Exactly how "many"? What's your verifiable source? I get it- you got yourself into trouble by falling for their pitches, and you regret it. But that's just one person. Not "many". You throw that "many of us" out quite often as an argument. If you're going to do that, you need to have verifiable stats to back it up.

Someone who has had that kind of financial trouble should probably not be watching shopping channels for 18 hours a day.

I'm one of those people, that, in disasters, or even crime stories, I'm like, "oh that's horrible, so sad, but, what about the animals, are they ok?"
