It's Friday evening and Sandra Bennett is hosting and SK is at home chiming in with opinions, etc. Is she sick? If not, why isn't she at the studio?

I'm thinking it's no ones business but theirs. Watch, don't watch. Buy, don't buy. That's pretty much our only part in this home shopping deal. If I had to guess, I would think Shawn, or maybe Jagger, wasn't feeling well, and for that I commend her for making the choice to stay home. Anyway, not our concern. Shawn is taking time off to spend time with her dad. She usually hosts this show, so she's probably helping out the only way she can at the moment.

Sandra is perfectly capable of hosting this show -- I don't understand why it is necessary to skype Shawn.

Then again, just flicking channels and no interest at all in shows hosted by SK.

Shawn posted on FB she's taking a break to care for her father...she's mentioned on air several times her parents are living with them while her father is getting treatments. I think she checked into the show tonight to do her part to help out while she's gone.

I just took a peek and it looked like SK was in bed & wearing a hospital gown...I must have seen wrong.

I wasn't interested in the products they were talking about so I’m gone but it looked very strange.

It's really no one's business who is in studio or who isn't for whatever reason. Unless I'm the boss there I don't need to know.

Different people on different channels are doing remotes. It is not unusual because of things that are going on.

These times are very uncertain, naturally, so I doubt that QVC will be showing live shows for long. I may be really off-base but doubtful ppl are spending much and the employee's hours are up in the air, when this virus hits PA with its full force, the governor will close down all companies but those absolutely needed. A TV shopping channel isn't needed for the welfare of the ppl so it will be off for a while.

Her father has stage 4 cancer and not doing that well. I believe she is spending time with him and didn't want to be around people such as at work with all that is going on.

@this is my nic I wondered about that myself. I haven't watched QVC in over a month - I've had the flu. Thought perhaps she might be ill. Did not know about her father - don't really keep up with the the hosts.

But with Shawn being the " new face of the Q" I assumed she was tuning in from home because she was sick.

Glad she is well, but sorry to hear about her father. This must be a tough time for her. I'm surprised she is working at all.

@KKJ I agree. Why can't people post a legitimate opinion or ask a question without someone else jumping all over them??

The gov has already put out a list that says mail order and e-trade retailers are essential.

I just wish Sandra would speak up. She certainly can speak loudly when she wants to but she whispers half the time.
