i actually think that participation has ramped up a bit since covid19.

@BeccaLou There are certainly any number of epidemic-relatd threads, many of which are heavily populated. Tend to agree, though, that if one is generally trying to avoid the overkill associated with that series of topics, there doesn't seem to be as much conversation. Maybe we'll see a bit more diversity among topics soon.

It seems to me the Community is being overrun with Coronavirus threads.

I feel people should be able to post whatever they want, just not anywhere they want. So many threads are started in the Community Chat Forum. Since COVID-19 news is health related, why wouldn't the Wellness Forum be the most appropriate place?

The mods are usually strict about moving around other threads.

ETA: Half of Community Chat threads on page 1 are health-related.

I will add something new here then...

Cute Susan Graver new jeans tonight,

ordered the lightest wash.
Got that new cardigan/tank set also, in the black.

Watching the show, I was a bit amused that Susan was having

to hold herself back from fiddling with the clothes on the models,

apparantly they are all trying to distance themselves a bit more from each other.

I was thinking to myself, I hope I have that much spunk when I am her age!

Also, Sandra said that Susan looked great in those jeans, I have to agree, she did.

@proudlyfromNJ ...... @ Montana ..... Just to let you know ..... I just asked them. If they feel it is justified I am sure they will move them to the Wellness Forum. It doesn't hurt to ask politely.

It definitely is Covid-19 overload. We all have access to the news so what is there to learn here? However, it is interesting to read posters' personal experiences in their areas though.

Definitely fewer posters present. The same ones are dominating most of the "conversations."

All I will add is that none of us has the authority to dictate what number of threads is too much. That's up to the mods.

And you also have the option of not reading those threads or limiting your reading -- and starting threads on other topics.

Personally, given the enormity of this crises, I think CC is a fine place for the topic. Many of the threads deal with other aspect of the pandemic than merely the physical.

In my case, it's pretty frustrating to come on here and have 20+ seconds between clicks much of the time. It's downright discouraging.

One explanation is less people are watching a shopping channel and purchasing. I'm not going to UPS or the post office to make any returns and sure the office staff at all online retailers are a skeleton crew. I think everyone has started watching their dollars more carefully.
