SZISH LIST SHOW

I'm enjoying the show along w/ others who have posted here. She has a pleasant personality and is quite knowledgeable about fashion, jewelry and beauty. So why has she been relegated to the wee hours of the night...1AM? Much less capable/watchable hosts have 3-4 hour prime time shows.

How about moving The SZISH LIST to 9PM-11PM...a 2 hr. show?

@Shanus I wish her show was on earlier. The only thing I can think of is they're, the Q, are trying to appeal to the west coast(?) I enjoy her calm and unique style.

I agree as well...I don't watch some of the prime time fashion shows (e.g. Monday nights) because of the hosts. I like the Szish List and would like to watch prime time.

@jlrbr They don't seem to consider the West Coast when the East Coast is stuck with PM Style & Fashion Night In at an earlier time.

The 1:00AM timeslot may seem unfair to some but we have to remember Katrina is still one of the newer hosts. If you think about it, they all start out hosting overnight hours. Then, gradually work their way up. Amy Stran is now host of Fashion's Night In. But, remember when she handled the social media for PM Style? Then, she went on to host her own show called Inspired Style. This show aired at 1:00AM as well.

The 1:00AM slot seems to be the proving ground for hosts. Katrina is also Leah's sidekick on Saturday's AM Style. I have no doubts that she will have a show in prime time hours at some point.

I tuned in at the start of the show and was impressed at how she presented a Quacker Factory top as being stylish(only showed a couple of the options, rolled the sleeves up, half tuck, layered under a jacket). I’m sure they will move her show into a better time slot if she sells.

I can't watch much of PM Style, I should say the Friday, Saturday & Monday night line up.

She does have a show in primetime, if you're on the best coast 😄

With the time difference, you can't please everybody, I suppose.

Unfortunately I haven't been able to catch her show yet, but it looks really good. I like her from what I have seen, and she is very attractive and stylish! I would like to see her on a Saturday, other than as Leah's sidekick.

Katrina has the chops - in my opinion she is WILDLY talented, perhaps a bit out of place at the Q.......

I found these facts about her online;

She modeled in her very early youth via CLICK modeling.

She graduated from High School at the top of her class in 1990 - was accepted into the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.

After completing her sophomore year at Northwestern, she took a year off after being accepted into an internship program with CNN's Political Investigation Unit in Washington, DC.

She transferred to Harvard University where she was a member of the Hasty Pudding Club.

She wrote for The Harvard Crimson and was a member of the college television station.

In 1996, after writing a thesis on fashion, film and concepts of identity, she graduated ****** laude from Harvard with a BA degree in English & American Literature and Language. - THIS CHICK HAS IT ALL!

She held numerous positions at fashion magazines, including:

YM - a teen mag that ceased pub in 2004

VOGUE,

GQ magazine

She worked alongside Barbara Walters, Larry King, Diane Sawyer and Bill O'Reilly.

@Shanus. I imagine the show is being done on a trial basis to determine if Katrina is ready for prime time. If it's successful, they'll probably move it.

I find it a bit tedious as she stays forever on some dumb item that comes in limited colors and is riduculously expensive. Last night it was a $70. "sweatshirt" with no fleece lining, just French terry ($39. in Denim & Co.). It came in red and the world's ugliest faded blue. I finally changed the channel after I'd heard more than enough about it.

The show moves too slow.

I would imagine QVC is and will continue to give the best time slots to the hosts they have invested money in as well as a high salary.

It's very easy for prime openings to occur, should one of the "stars" retire and/or resign, voluntarily or otherwise.

I also enjoy Katrina's show. It's fun to see the vendors relax and chat. But, I agree, it's very slow-moving so it won't be everyone's cup of tea.
Part of that relaxed and chill vibe is Katrina herself...she is very calm, centered and deliberate in her speech. I enjoy her a lot. It's wind-down time when her show is on in California, so her energy is perfect for 10 pm here. I hope the show is a big success for The Q, as Katrina is delightful to watch.

@MoonieBaby she has the chops and then some. Her wedding photos were unbelievable as well. As far as the show, why they put a top in there that was extremely limited before the show even aired is beyond me. I like the format, slower, calmer. Not all hyped up. I had to question if AS was speaking English the other day she was talking so fast and tripping on her words. They lost me on the pj wearing rolling around on the floor mess in the winter. The sarcasm played off as wit and " friendship" is old too. When someone yells " squirrel " on a show, it's pretty much over for me.

I watched most of the show. Am still not totally loving it. The constant moving of the host and guests is weird and makes the show chaotic!! I hate that in other shows too. Just stay in one place and present the products!!

I also thought too much time was spent on each item presentation. I realize it was a Valentine's themed show, but she would state there are other colors, but didn't show them.

She is well prepared, speaks well and doesn't yell or act silly....that is a good thing!!

I've enjoyed this show since its beginning. I bought pink champagne glasses just from her curated picture on the home page because I really liked them. Would never have looked for them on the Q. (I also didn't know I needed them lol).

I like what she curates, what she finds in their merchandise, and the flow of the show. I like the way she styles her outfits and the ones she presents. Loved the cashmere sweater with the lips. Just can't justify the purchase in the heat of our winter. Also loved the pink coat. Who knew the Q had avec les filles.

I do not like the one guest seated with her back to the camera while the others are facing it. Change the set to respect the guests.
