Question About Program Guide

When you see an "R" beside the program name in the program guide, does that mean the show is a repeat? Gourmet Holiday today at 4:00 p..m. EST has an "R" beside it, and it's on the main QVC channel. I've seen other programs on the main channel with an R lately. I'm surprised the main channel would have repeats if that's what it means.

QVCs use of the phrase Today's Special Value and some of their show titles are Registered, so other retailers can't use them.

@x Hedge The small "R" in the circle means the name of the program is a registered trademark. I don't think that's the symbol to which @NickNack is referring.

She's referring to the (R) in the programme guide. As I wrote upthread, everywhere there is an (R), there is also a corresponding ® (for registered) symbol next to the program's show title or featured vendor in the +More Info description.

Open the +More Info
