I was surprised to see her as well, because I was not aware of her affiliation with wine. She looks great though!

Brinkley first brought these to the Q a few months ago; the reviews are hit or miss. But she's very pleasant in her presentations and interacts well with the hosts.

Good grief we are awash in designer wine. Wine everywhere. Do people really drink that much wine? There are a million brands and they come and go. Who would know what to buy?

@Sooner - Based on your post, you probably don't care about the details (and to be quite honest, I don't either), but Christie Brinkley brings sparkling wines that include a zero-sugar option, so at least they have some differentiation in the marketplace...

According to the latest stats, from March 2018-March 2019 American consumers spent $14.4 billion on wine through, “grocery, drug, mass merchandisers, convenience, dollar, military, as well as a selection of warehouse clubs, and liquor channel geographies and liquor channel retail chains.”

That’s a 1.6% dollar increase over the same period between 2017-2018. But the overall volume of wine—162 million cases—for the 52-weeks represented a 1% drop from the same 52 week period between 2017-2018.

@Marp Thanks! But since we have so many "girfriends" activities in what, the last 15 years or so, women seem so very much associated with wine.

So much more than in the "olden" days--like the turn of the century.
