I am sorry, this my first post but I am getting real tired of the Beckman boys with their specials everyday on QVC and HSN. Do these guys own the Stations? Thanks for listening.

I know they had a special not long ago on HSN. I have never seen them on Q but I only channel surf over to see what's on. LOL!!!

I don't think they are on all the time. You have those certain vendors at each station that are there over & over. I think everyone is waiting for something new instead of the same old stuff.

How do you feel about Josie Maran, Philosopby, Dyson, Valerie Pharr Hill, It Cosmetics or dozens of other vendors? Once QVC finds a product that sells, they beat it into the ground and will continue to do so as long as sales continue. Best to make liberal use of your remote control.

First of all, their name is Beekman 1802. Second, they are usually only on QVC and HSN when they have a TSV or a TS. They are the #1 beauty brand on HSN, so expect to see them more in the future. After they started at QVC this year, I would expect to see them more here as well. They are not on everyday, usually on the weekends with specials. They will be on this weekend on QVC with a TSV related to the new Mr. Rogers movie. They will be back on HSN the first week of Dec, no TS, just holiday products. Remember, you have a remote to use. Please don't come here and complain about a company you obviously know nothing about.

I very much like their products and just ordered the Black Friday one. DH really likes the no fragranced ones.

Hard to imagine someone being tired of a vendor, yet hasn't yet learned their correct name. Love the Beekman boys....and their products!!!!!!!

I'm sure it was an autocorrect oversight. But you knew that and just wanted to throw in your bit of snark. Congrats.

The same shows are on a lot! I know I rarely watch because of the repetitive programming and products. I can breeze throw dozens of items elsewhere and get a better selection.

I find them as fake and creepy .... ... although I did try their products .

I like their facial cleansing makeup removal cloths and their Ylang Ylang body wash/ hand cream.

I've never liked them, I think the whole thing is pretty cheezy IMO

I love goats, so I watch to see the baby goats. They're a hoot. Sometimes I buy products and sometimes I don't. Their soaps last forever and are very gentle on the skin.

Its Christmas shopping time and things like Beekman make good gifts, so they will be shown more than things like snow blowers. JMO.

@Kat3251: No, the Beekman Boys don't own the station. But...guess what??? They will present their products on QVC this coming Saturday with a TSV.

I have to tell you, I am sick of seeing QVC turn into The QVC Sampler (remember that, old timers?) during the holiday season. But I can change the channel: I happen to love Josh and Brent, but I don't watch their shows - I order online., for myself and for gifts. Also, I order from their website and am enrolled in the cheese auto-delivery program. If they could, I think they would sell food products on TV (beyond the chocolates).

@Kachina624 you are so right ! I will say I hardly ever see Beekman products , I don't watch hsm though. I feel QVC needs to add some new vendors to the mix though

@Kat3251 Welcome to the boards! As to your question, they must be creating volume sales, hence the fairly frequent appearances on QVC.

They were new to me a few months back and I advance ordered their candy a few months back that I am expecting to receive in December. I wanted to try something different in the confection category.

As to the repetition you reference I don't know what to suggest. My belief is that all the shopping channels rely on "repeat performances" of the products that generate the best initial sales response and then bring them back a lot to keep boosting the plus side of the ledger.

If we are faithful watchers it is sometimes hard to remember that sometimes what gives us a "yawn" because we have seen the brand, the presentation, and the host so many times is fresh and exciting to a brand new viewer. And we are loyal to our "categories" my favorites being kitchen, household, decorating, some clothing, occasional jewelry, makeup--rarely--and gardening.

At the end of David Venable's kitchen show last Sunday he mentioned that they had 1,000 new customers that he wanted to welcome.

Of course, I wasn't a new customer that day but a "repeat" one--I ordered the 7500 Vitamix model that was the Today's Special Value during his show. Started watching at midnight. It was my third purchase of a Vitamix blender from QVC and at the price for everything included it was a tremendous value and had the free shipping and 6 easy pays and according to UPS it should be here by 9 o'clock tonight.

I picked up two other much less expensive kitchen items (Lock and Lock) as well on Sunday, both that haven't been available in a long time and were again in rotation.
