How many Easy Pays can you have out at once?

There's two items that have Easy Pay offers I want to order. Is there a limit? I've never shopped with QVC before.

You need to contact CS as about the limit on the number of EZ-Pay.

I'm not aware of any limit. I've had up to 20 items on easy pay at one time.

Actually, I'm sure there are many people who have more easy pays than they can afford each month. I don't know why QVC would have a limit, the payments are automatically charged to a credit card. The problems that could arise from too many easy pays would be on the buyer, paying massive credit card interest by having to carry a balance month to month.

pas4116: I don't use credit cards, only one debit card, so no interest. I've had several items on EZ Pay - including auto-delivery items - at once.

pas4116: I don't use credit cards, only one debit card, so no interest. I've had several items on EZ Pay - including auto-delivery items - at once.

That is a smart way to do it, I only suspect that many people are not so financially savvy. My point was that it would not matter to QVC how many easy pays someone has.

I don't know there's a limit - except maybe what your credit will bear.

I do know that although I can afford everything I charge, at one point I had 6 or 7 items on EZPay at one time and I didn't like it! First of all, I didn't like keeping track of each of those payments to be sure what I was paying for and the accuracy of the charges. I also found I just didn't like having spent my discretionary money months ahead of when it actually was coming out of my account.

Just to calm fears, I'm compulsive about checking my charges and while I used to EZPay almost everything I could, I never found QVC making any EZPay mistakes. It's just my own feelings that now keep me from having too many items on EZP at one time.

It is smart to avoid paying interest, but anyone financially savvy does not use a debit card on Internet charges. I really don't know why, but debit cards are more vulnerable to problems than credit cards.

Sorry I can't say why. I don't allow any debit on my accounts because many years ago, those cards had virtually no protection and I just never wanted that. I still see many financial gurus who say credit over debit - assuming, of course, you pay off that account without interest every month, so I'm thinking many banks still don't protect them well enough.

I'm pretty sure there is no limit! Like millieshops, I had many EZPays going at once (think I had 9 or 10) and also didn't like trying to keep track of when they were due, etc. In fact, just two days ago I called customer service and had all the remaining payments billed now. All the charges hit my QVC credit card yesterday and I paid it off. There are some things I like about EZPay..........mainly that I'm only out a fraction of the cost of something until I actually get it at home and see if I want to keep it.......especially for clothes since QVC runs all over the place with sizes!

Most debit cards are backed by Visa or Mastercard and when used to order on-line are run as a credit card. The disadvantage of course is if the card is hacked the effect is immediate, then again that could be an advantage as you are immediately aware and can get it cleared up. My debit card is 100% guarateed in case of identity theft and my bank closely monitors transactions and calls if something pops up out of the ordinary.

I use my debit card for my QVC easy pays. It has a VISA logo and I have the same protection I have with my actual credit cards so for me this is the savvy thing b/c I don't carry a balance and do not pay interest.

As other posters here have already stated, this is not the case with debit cards that have a visa/MC logo. My debit card carries a Visa logo and I enjoy 100% fraud protection. And as Buck-i-Nana posted, it sometimes works out better because I keep a much closer eye on my day-to-day dealings on my debit card.

I would never use a debit card for online shopping. I'm not giving anyone access to my checking account. I use my credit card. Just pay your bill in full & you don't have to worry about interest. I pay mine in full regardless of the balance.
