I purchased two of Valerie's 3 foot white birch trees. One for $25 in October and one for $39 in November. Last week noticed that they were priced at $20 in AsIs. They had not shipped yet. I called for a price adjustment. Well, we'd be glad to WHEN they ship. Well, I can wait. What? Now they are priced back up to $39. If a customer has already ordered and the item is "in processing", why can't the price adjustment be done at that time? IMO, not good customer service.

IMO QVC is a price manipulator, I don't know if they all do it, but it stinks. It's too much work all around if you are paying attention and want a price adjustment.

I've noticed changes in the as-is prices. I always figured when they get more stock in, they raise the price. As stock dwindles and there is hardly anything left, they lower the price.

The lowest as-is clothing prices seem to be on items where there is only a size or 2 left and 1 or 2 colors. Otherwise, I've noticed the as-is prices aren't as great as they used to be. Sometimes it's not even worth it.

IMO price changes within QVC's 30 day policy is appropriate and in line with what other stores do. I have never had a problem requesting an adjustment. In fact, the reps are surprisingly pleasant about it and accommodating. Why not call again and ask a different representative?

I put items in my wish list and then watch the pricing change, sometimes day to day. I hate that! if the price goes down, leave it down - don't boost it back up. HSN does the same thing. For instance, a small Martha Stewart wallet went down to about $73, and is now back to $99. I am not going to buy it at the higher price.

It's no big deal. The rep at the time when I call will just put the info about the price change into the notations and I just call back CS when I see the item has shipped and they will make the price adjustment...easy peasy. In the meantime, until whenever the order ships, I just put the order # and lower price on a sticky note.

I think that situation happened about 5-8 times so far and CS always made the price adjustment once the order ships even it is when the price has gone back up. Sometimes this situation happens during a flash sale event, or a one day event...or it was a primetime/lunchtime special, etc.
