My Guess.............Bringing in older seasoned host to stabilize late day programs - from loud silly presentations to calmer times. Perhaps MB is taking one for the team (QVC)

I can't remember the last time I saw her on so late at night. It was also nice to see L'Occitane products back, but I thought the 11:00 hour was kind of late.

I think that QVC is offering severance/separation agreements to hosts because there are suddenly too many of them. That is why some have left. Just my opinion.

It's all about her numbers and how much she sells. I've noticed she has gotten more aggressive like walking up to the camera. I've never seen her do that before and I've watched her since the beginning.

She might not have a choice as to leaving. But she does more aggressive. They all seem to have revved up. She dresses different as well, like Shawn, I haven't seen the dresses but instead jeans.

In my opinion, I think they are pushing out the long time hosts. Mary Beth now works all time of the day and night. She was on til midnight the other night, and then saw her the next day at 2pm. No downtime!! I think this is why Jill may have left....... They have their favorites, I guess.

No downtime? She had a 13 hours break between shifts.. I had a relative who worked at a retail store. She would be scheduled from noon-10pm and back at 8am the next morning for another 9 hour shift. These hosts have it easy in comparison.

@Reever The hosts shifts don’t work the way you think they do. I know you think the only hours they are at QVC is when they are on the air but that’s not true.

I love Mary Beth and would welcome the opportunity to see her to do more primetime presentations, but I'm guessing she's just filling in recently because Shawn and Amy have been on vacation...

This has been explained to @Reever many times (I know I posted about it in response before), but somehow she refuses to believe it. The hosts have even said on air that they have meeting days where they must come in for all day meetings; they have vendor training days; they have management meetings, etc. All that, along with the hours it takes before each show to prepare for that day's shows. In addition, retail sales is not, again, not the same as high-pressure on-air, frantic TV sales.
