I really thought it is Lisa who has cancer but it's Gino. She always seemed to love him so much I'm sure she is very distraught as would any of us be.

I knew she would have to as her aunt posted (I'm sure innocently) that they were starting a prayer chain for Gino, and they were all praying for him...so her AUNT accidentally spilled the beans.

When I saw that I knew Lisa wouldn't be able to keep the privacy. I know she would have preferred her aunt not have done that but I'm sure her aunt didn't mean any harm.

I think we all should still let it be.

I wonder why her husband's cancer precludes Lisa from returning to QVC. I always liked her. Am wishing all the best for both.

If she really wanted privacy FB was not the place to post in the first place. I understand the need for prayers was her main concern but if we want to keep anything private, don't put it on FB. Prayers for them both.

I don't understand why she wanted to keep people guessing. If she wanted to keep it private, she shouldn't have mentioned it at all. Don't ask for prayers on Facebook if you want to truly keep things private. Strange.

I am assuming that she will be his care giver and going thru cancer is a horrendous amount of dr appts and tests and scans not to mentioned the treatments involved as well as possible surgeries and his reactions to it for many months. I did most of that myself for myself and it is like a job. Wishing them both hope and good luck .

So her aunt got into Lisa's FB account and posted the information. I didn't think Lisa wrote that herself.

I don't think Lisa's contract was renewed with Super Smile. That may not be while she's returning.

FB has some good too. It's like everything else, good and bad people are on there. If people would just use common sense a lot of the bad could be avoided. People worry about privacy on FB, but if you know someone's name you can use the "people searches" and learn all about them. I know, I searched for me and it was all there online. EXCUSE ME! That is a stupid statement. I can read (by pictures or words) just about everything there is to know about anyone I know under the age of 35 years old!

This person must have mixed up the age! Please do not make blanket statements like that! How many people who are in their 50's and so on constantly send out pictures of themselves? Not many, I'd guess.

I seldom go on facebook. I like talking to people (you know, the old fashioned way).

However, if I want to know anything about others (under the age of 35 all I have to do is to look on their Facebook page.

So, please don't blame any of this Facebook stuff on people over the age of 35! That just doesn't make sense.

Bee, you are right! I think there will always be people who think, "The show must go on".

Different but similar, when my husband died, within months people were saying, "You're still young. You could get married again if you wanted to".

They were no longer people I associated with. Life's too short to be around people who are so insensitive. I agree with you Bee.
