While waiting for my train arrive the other day, I sat across from a lady who had the most beautiful luggage set I've ever seen (outside of an airport baggage terminal).

I asked her where did she purchase such gorgeous luggage? She "whispered" & I was like huh? Sorry, I did not hear you. Whispering again, I thought she said H&M. I then asked her, the one in NYC?

Then in a normal voice she said HSN. Took me a few seconds to realize she was talking about "Home Shopping Network." Then she went on to explained why she loved the luggage. The color was a beautiful shade of navy blue.

As soon as I got home I went on HSN website & found it!

I checked Q's site for something similar & nada. So I bookmarked HSN luggage site for a future purchase. No more navy blue in this set. The other colors are going fast except for the black set. I really do not need any luggage but mine is long in the tooth & older than dirt. Hmmmmm.........

@ahoymate That is a beautiful color combination for luggage. However, I do not like hard exterior luggage.

I have that exact Samantha Brown luggage set. I bought it when it was a new set that she brought to HSN some 7 or so years ago. I have it in that navy. I LOVE it!

I have been stopped so many times in my travels asking where I got it. Many think it is a high end set. It has held up remarkably well, no complaints from me.

Not only is Samatha Brown's luggage attractive, but it's very well made too. I have that set along with the matching big bag, in turquoise. I've had it 7 or 8 years and it still looks like new.

I like the look of some of her luggage and would have been tempted to buy except "Samantha Brown" is prominent. If she had just used her initials I might have bought but I don't want anyone to think that's my name.

She was just on with that set last week. There are many flight attendants that call in and rave about her luggage.

Is Samantha Brown luggage that good? and durable? I have her packing cubes but not the luggage. My friend has 1 of her rolling bags that she uses for work and I like the look. I just don't know if it is quality or not.

I own this luggage in the navy blue and brown Croco. I absolutely love it. I only have the 21-inch bag and a doctor's bag that fits under the seat. I would love to get the two larger pieces to match so I have a complete set.

I own this entire set in burgandy and the packing cubes. The various pieces have gone on many happy trips and still look great and have held up well.

The lady I spoke w/at the train station stated the luggage was ultra light weight empty & light weight when completely full! She also mentioned that she always over packs. She was 87 yrs old & approximately 5'4 1/2"-5" tall.

As I was boarding the train, I noticed she was carrying the 22" upright suitcase down the narrow aisle w/ease instead of using the wheels & needed no help when asked.

Watching the video, the vendor & hostess kept mentioning how ultra light weight SB suitcases are.

I hate to contradict a sweet little old lady, but the croc set is NOT ultra-lite. I love my SB croc set, but don't use it for airline checked baggage any more due to the weight. I just bought a set of her ultralite luggage in brown for my son-in-law. DH and I have been using IT kuggage--really light!! I do admit to using luggate straps around every piece, just in case. SB luggage is very atractive and lasts.

I have the SB Croc Luggage set. I had it for about 6-7 years and it's true that people stop and ask me about it all the time. Airline attendants have commented on it, bellboys and other passengers have come up to me to ask about it. I have three pieces plus the packing cubes in the black and tan. Use it on airline twice a year. Luv it!

I happened to see HSN for a few minutes today; they were showing JOY luggage at crazy low clearance prices, no s&h if the order was 75.00 plus. We have a big trip coming up and I want to get some new luggage so I went onto the HSN website. The reviews in the luggage were not good. No wonder they were reduced so much! I passed on ordering!
