So I returned an item last Friday and yesterday I received a full refund minus only the sales tax. Why can’t the Q be as efficient and generous.

Why no refund on sales tax, that should always be refunded on a return?

HSN is really good about processing returns and giving refunds. You just have to ensure you speak with a CS rep to ensure you are not charged return shipping when using the return label.

I didn’t think sales tax was refundable

Sales tax is refundable. You may want to contact customer service.

I always get my sales tax back when I shop at HSN.

When you return an item, regardless of where you bought it, the sales tax is always refunded as well. If it's not, then someone messed up!

HSN is really much better in handling returns. Returning things to QVC has become a nightmare. I have called customer service 4 times in the last 4 days trying to resolve issues. I am seriously reconsidering not purchasing clothing any longer due to slow refunds, exchanges, and inconsistencies in sizing.
