On 7/8/2014 Nikalette said:You can't "abuse" a return policy which says they want every customer to be happy with every purchase! The salesmen tell us to send back anything we don't love...they don't want us to be unhappy. If I get something that doesn't fit, is clearly used sold as new, is trashed from sloppy packing, is defective, or if hideous, I am supposed to be able to return it. it is not a hobby! And when I used to shop at Ross, we returned tons of stuff and no one said a word. We also spent thousands there. And yes, I have experience filing lawsuits. I have experience winning settlements. I have experience winning in small claims. I have experience in winning money when I was injured in a store. And I could easily file against the doctor who destroyed my hand, but it is a lot of work. That is why I am in law school.
On 7/8/2014 Pook said:
So you have experience in filing lawsuits? You might have won but this one doesn't even make sense. Most companies monitor returns and have policies regarding high return rates. Just because you are a disabled senior citizen doesn't exempt you from being a moral honest person. Common sense dictates that if you abuse the liberal return policy action will be taken. Why would you or anyone else return so many things and then still keep shopping at that place? It doesn't make sense. Sounds like you have a shopping addiction also. Find a place that suits your needs better. It does seem that you are the type to take advantage of any opportunity to file a lawsuit hoping the other side will settle so they don't have waste time with such frivolity. Doesn't make it morally right. The exact reason why companies have to raise prices for the rest of us!! Not being mean - just truthful!!

Stores are now beginning to keep track of habitual returners....QVC is no different. It is frivolous lawsuits such as the one you are threatening that give lawyers a bad name and increase the prices of our goods. Thanks for all your efforts....NOT . Remember, you started this thread and you have the right to ask that it be closed, but you have to know that you will get responses to your angry comments. QVC I'm sure does appreciate your business but threatening to pull your business probably doesn't mean squat to them. Your purchases are a drop in the bucket to their bottom line.

PLEASE don't respond on this thread to be nasty or critical. Go be mean elsewhere. This is for information. QVC does NOT have an unconditional return policy. What the salespeople say, and what the reality is, are different. You have an unconditional policy up to 41%of your purchases. It doesn't matter if you are returning for poor quality, bad fit, ineffective product, ugly color, getting a used rather than new item....if you keep only 60% of your items, you will be considered "unprofitable" and your account WILL BE MONITORED. You will get a letter from corporate, and if they don't like what you are doing, a series of escalatingly stern letters, then perhaps your account will be cancelled or perhaps you will be proofed from the planet. Anyway I don't see how they lose money on returns. They charge for return shipping and sell the product as new. I have been a member since 1992, received a warning letter in 1998 and again in 2014. So for 22 years, I have been a profitable customer according to their standard and probably for all 24 years. They are judging you against a profit margin. I have never been tracked for returns at Ross or Amazon, or EBay. I wish I could return everything I bought at QVC this year. I am waiting to hear from a Corporate Supervisor. And I am going to consider legal action, because I am disabled. I am planning on going to law school, if I can afford it, I am very unhappy I have handed so much money over to QVC. At least I can get back the $1500 I have spent this month,

I'm not going to let a company bully me into keeping something that doesn't fit or has been misrepresented. The Q has made TONS of money on me. 24 years worth. if they are raising prices, it is because they are losing customers either because of the economy of because they are not the quality company they used to be. You are absolutely wrong, and not making any sense at all. How many purchases do you make in a year? Also, there is NO way I am going to let a company monitor my purchasing. I'm out. I guess according to your logic, prices should drop once the Q isn't collecting my thousands every year.
On 7/8/2014 Pook said:
So you have experience in filing lawsuits?

OP, you are the one with the problem and seem to expect special treatment because you are a disabled senior. You are not exempt from anything that others are expected to do just because of that. There are many with probably worse disabilities than yours (and I don't know what that is) who do not rant and rave and expect the world to accommodate them above and beyond. You are the one trying to bully QVC into giving you a settlement because you have a shopping problem and order too much claiming the items are used, defective, etc, etc, etc. While sometimes it might happen, It's just hard to believe you keep getting such items continually. To me it's sounds like you impulse shop or setting them up for this lawsuit by making false claims about the items. You say they won't want to bother with your lawsuit just insinuates that even you don't think you are right so even though you are wrong, you will get another settlement. That's sounds like blackmail to me!!! I would be ashamed to say I have won many lawsuits as the average person never even has one incident bad enough to warrant one. That's the mark of a dishonest person. I have fallen in stores as have many others but would never consider filing a lawsuit as accidents happen and sometimes a medical treatment just doesn't turn out and is really not the fault of the doctor and could possibly be the fault of the patient not following directions. All those frivolous lawsuits are what raises medical fees. It seems that filing lawsuits is you "hobby".

They don't care what is right or wrong. It is all about time and money, and given all the homophobic remarks on this forum, plus the bullying going in, I doubt the Q wants to take on the US government.

Anytime you've returned an item to QVC, did they refund your money?

If so, how are they violating their return policy? They aren't.

Every store keeps track of your returns and when you make too many, you can't return any longer.

I'm not sure what you being disabled as to do with anything.

QVC has refunded your money as they promised. However realizing that they can't please everyone all the time they caution you that the rate of returns for your account will not be tolerated. How is that not fair? You are warned. Look into your purchasing habits and move on with your life. Sitting on your pity pot complaining about being "disabled" and then ranting about your expertise with lawsuits on these boards shows how compulsive your behavior is. The only benefit from you being on here going over the same ground over and over and over is that perhaps it keeps you away from compulsive shopping for a few minutes.
