It must actually be cheaper for them to tolerate the blunders and refund money to those who return then it is to properly inspect packages before sending in the first place or returns upon their arrival and sending out again. Otherwise, some of the problems seemingly cited so often would be avoided... It doesn't do much for the customer experience but they simply don't seem to care...

I don't understand the problem with quality control with this company. Why do things that should be sold to Big Lots or somewhere as seconds get sold to us? There is no reason handbags that are mucked up or pants with rips or jewelry that falls apart or can't close, etc gets sent out to the consumer. No excuses! Someone checks these things at the end of the manufacturing process and culls out the bad ones and makes sure QVC name is not put on something defective. What are your thoughts?

Hmmm, thank you for your thoughts. Looking something over before sending it out is one point of quality control which I don't think they do. The most important point would be at the manufacturing plant where inspection takes place after product is complete. Ever they have a lenient policy or they are saving money by not inspecting! Defective products are called seconds and pulled from the pack. That's what I don't understand. You are right, I guess they don't care?

What Quality control? There is none any more. They just don't seem to care, as long as they make money.
