No more Joy Readers or Hangers?!?

I'm watching a Joy Mangano clearance show on HSN and I cannot imagine that HSN will no longer offer Joy's reading glasses or "Huggable Hangers."
Her reading glasses are truly exceptional and those hangers have outlasted all the imitation ones I bought from Real Simple and other brands.
Do you think there's a chance HSN will continue to offer either product, even though Joy's company is closed?

@MarnieRez3 Target sells Joy's Huggable Hangers. They have them in the store and also on their website. They don't have the variety of colors though. Right now they have a 40 pc. set for $27.

HSN bought Joy's company a while ago, at least several years ago. The company belonged to HSN and now Qurate owns it and apparently, they are phasing it out. Maybe they will bring back some of the products under a different brand name, maybe they won't. Time will tell.

Thank you!! I owe you dinner! I had no idea Target carries Huggable Hangers. Thank you for posting that!
I thought Ingenious Designs, Joy's company, was closed. You all are giving me hope that they may bring back some of her best-selling items.
FYI...Right now, on air on HSN, there is a two-pack of the purple and tortoise readers Joy included with the purchase of her book. They are an astounding $5.95 for TWO pairs. They are a cat eye style and they don't pinch my nose, even after wearing them all day at work. I stocked up! (Item # 641-083)
I read a lot of threads where Joy gets beaten up for the quality of her leather goods and her aggressive selling style, but her reading glasses really are great, and I do love those hangers.

you can also find some of the JOY products on amazon.....including the hangers and the readers.

the parent company of hsn had owned ingenious designs since 1999. joy sold it to them. when QURATE pulled everything under one brand, they decided to close ingenious designs and bring all of the manufacturing to pennsylvania.

not sure yet if QURATE will continue the items or not. maybe everything is going to be renamed instead of calling it JOY?

I had read about mangano being phased out, so last month I bought two sets of her reading glasses on eBay. I was so glad to find them because, as you say, they are great quality and really last.

Thankfully, I ordered a set of the readers a few months ago. They are great - don't last forever but quite a long time and are lightweight and attractive.

You can always stock up on the hangers for future use especially now since they are on clearance. I have a spare box in my garage for those times when one breaks or someone (family member) borrows and does not return after a visit.

I also use another brand (ClutterFree) that are just as good if not better than HH. I purchased them from QVC and there were 100 hangers in the box. Don't know if they still carry but they were great hangers that were offered in different colors.

I don't know if they're Joy's brand but I've gotten similar hangers from Zulily. I just ordered a batch over the weekend. They're just as good.

I didn't know about Target and Macy's but they used to sell them also at The Container Store -- don't know if they still do. I bought some of the cascading mini hooks there. If HSN would offer free shipping, I'd pick up more of those as they are on sale. Also the over the door hooks.

The days of good s&h from HSN are gone imo.
