Junebug54, thank you for posting this!

Before modern technology, it was true that TV added pounds--but that hasn't been true in decades. I've posted about this in the past, but it's always been ignored.

(Just as, sadly, your comment about it probably will be.)

Why does everyone keep saying that??? I personally know 3 people that are on tv regularly and not one looks any different in person. In fact one of the three looks thinner on tv. That is such an antiquated theory. For those of you that keep saying that... how do you know that for a fact?

People want to believe that, it has nothing to do with fact. Although, I've read that lesser camera equipment can distort size, but I can't imagine that the Q doesn't have state of the art equipment.

I don’t know anything about the technical aspects of this but I do know for sure that being on tv does not create creased, bunched up material in the armpits, pulling across the back of jackets and tops and skin tight pants that leave nothing to the imagination. I don’t care how much a host weighs but I do wish they would wear clothes that FIT!

Manipulate the camara while shooting??? Nah.... just look at the "before & after" shots of the models wearing Spanx and their necks and upper arms are magically reduced in the after shots as well as the "magic" Spanx making them look 20lbs thinner.....
