I'm getting tired of waiting for my fan to be returned. I called QVC and complained. They have alot of complaints. Why keep selling their products? I also called Dyson and told them for the money I paid I could buy alot of other fans. They said they had thousands of fans to repair. I told them that sounded like GM. Anyone else have this problem?

No, but maybe we should think twice before spending so much on these state of the art products.

I bought the last TSV fan that cost $39.99. Not a Dyson, but it works really well.

OP: May I ask what was wrong with your fan? Mine has worked flawlessly and I absolutely love it. I had one problem in the beginning when I couldn't get it to oscillate. But that was only because I hadn't noticed the blue tape on the base that needed to be removed. A great fan! Can't help but wonder what problems folks are having that maybe I need to look out for.

The fan was on recall and could possibly start a fire. It's the fan that is also a heater.
