I was fed up with QVC and the BLINK, computers, etc. The Hosts most of the time were obnixous, and every time you looked at QVC, HSN, it was annoying, very, very annoying. Not every one wants a ****** computer or a camera to watch who is on our property.

A turn off of QVC, HSN for what should have been great days for all kind of shopping.

ELectronics are everywhere and have been for weeks and the weekend was just bizarre on at least 3 shopping channels.

Whatever happened to the jewelry shows through the buying season? There haven't been any on. We like to give gems & jewels and we love to receive them too!

Why not a few 'just sweaters' shows? It's winter out there people, throw in a couple just for fun holiday sweaters, good to go!

Leather goods - boots, handbags, luxe gloves & scarves, it's still winter!

Parfums and colognes for women & men. And how about some beautiful quilts and linens. I'd love any of these.

The goods they sell here, Q2 (which is just reruns of Q1), hsn and it's all the same - NOTHING ANYBODY wants for christmas gifts - vaccum sweepers, toothbrushes, flashlights, extension cords, sponge daddies, mommies, babies RUKIDDING US?????

As I mentioned on another thread, I feel Q has purposely abandoned its faithful viewers this time of year to reel in the folks who are looking for a one-off electronic holiday gift. It’s a good profit margin, so it’s an all day infomercial for electronics aimed at the channel flippers. They figure the long-time viewers will return in January or they will shop online.

I guess I’m the odd one here because I like some of the electronics, especially iPads, MacBooks, and Amazon Fires. I learn a lot from the presenters and get so much more from my devices. It helps me decide if I want to upgrade or give as gifts. Of course, I’m not crazy about clothes, shoes, or jewelry. I do like handbags, especially some Lugs. Don’t worry, after Christmas, I’m sure there will be plenty of fashion and exercise equipment on for everyone’s enjoyment.

Thankfully, I broke my QVC viewing habits a few years back when this nonsense started. It used to be my happy place to go when I needed to bleach my brain of all the day's bad news.

No more.

There was a time I watched to get gift ideas, and actually BUY some things. It got me in the mood for decorating, baking and just feeling good about the holidays.

No more.

I'm happy if someone is finding something they can actually use.

I do miss the QVC of old, but I'm afraid that train has left the station never to return

I agree with all you said. It's what I've been saying for a long time too. Not everyone gives, gets or wants electronics for the holidays. Electronics don't last forever and will be obsolete in no time. I like to give and get the things you suggested.
