The forums/message boards belong to QVC. QVC has the right to monitor what people say because QVC owns the forums/boards.

Maybe there’s a full moon, but many threads I read today were nasty, snarky and deserved to be closed.

Has anyone noticed the number of posters leaving due to poor behavior on the boards, hurt feelings, etc? It’s shameful.

Wow! When I posted originally, I didn't realize there was another thread regarding the same topic. No one was criticized, I just stated the obvious about the shut down topics. It surprized me because I had never seen that many halted under one group. I am stunned by the response. The gif with the "broken record" made me feel like a fool. Thank you.

Probably because the same person started three separate topics in which she just kept escalating things. She was just unwilling to accept any comment that didn't agree with her.

@this is my nic No reason to feel like a fool. I too have been noticing that lately the moderation seems excessive and often capricious. Occasionally, it even seems a bit biased. I also note some instances of deleting posts without noting their deletion or offering a reason for doing so, which I thought we were told wouldn't happen on the 'new' boards... Oh well, yes, as noted, these are their boards and they can 'manage' them however they choose...

I noted this also. If a poster asks for opinions, they will be offered, and you can’t control the outcome. Taking umbrage with those having differing views and chastising them guarantees a lock down.
