topic Publsihing Misinformation in Q Talk

It would be great if QVC would stop publishing misinformed reviews. It's one thing if an item is defective or isn't of good quality, but often people will write about which they know nothing. Case in point was the

TSV Bronzo Itailia Watch which drew its inspiration from Cartier timepieces. Cartier chose to use the IIII instead of IV. It was a design choice. It was not wrong. And women will be sending it back because it's defective. Forget the fact that most of them know how to tell time on a watch sans numbers.

Really Q? Why don't you address the issue? This is just one example. I also wish you wouldn't allow people to review items they have never seen firsthand.

ITA! It's annoying to read reviews on ANYTHING that someone hasn't purchased/received, didn't use correctly, etc. And it's so obvious!

Agree- on the day of the preview launch of the new bareMinerals serum foundation- there were 4 reviews and the product had not even shipped yet and was not going to either form almost 2 months!

Q did react and remove them, but was annoying!

No matter what, you're always going to see uneducated (for lack of a better word) on any review system. Mark them as not being helpful; or if they're inappropriate or not within the guidelines, report them.

same as many post that QVC & HSN are owned by the same parent company- that is partially true

Liberty Interactive Owns 100% of QVC and owns 38% of HSN but the majority of HSN is owned by HSNi

Just ignore the reviews that are from people who haven't seen/bought the item. They don't bother me. It's Q's site and they can allow or not allow what they want. For me, it's not a big deal.

Java, it wasn't so much that the information was wrong, it was non-existent. It should have been discussed during the presentation. The Q geniuses probably didn't notice it. Another case in point...the Isaac ceramic watch comes with a screw-down crown. People have returned it because they can push the crown in, or worse, have worn it for months including getting it wet, with the crown out. The people who should know these things obviously don't as it's not mentioned. It's pitiful that those of us on the boards must educate the buyers.
