I realize some folks may wear multiple layers, but just the thought of it when the heat index is 108 here makes me half ill. I realize the Logo brand is built on layering to sell more tops, but for goodness sakes, use common sense! If AC makes you cold, then maybe a sweater, but what I'm seeing just looks out of touch with reality.

If I wear anything in layers, it's flannel when it's 20 degrees or less. It certainly isn't anything with lace. There's no layers for me during the summer.

Agreeing with you wholeheartedly, but, the tops are so very very thin that when they are showing the colors, you can always see the color of the next item on the rack showing through. But see through, does not make them heat proof, and most of her tops are as long as dresses. And my yes she is completely out of touch when it comes to dressing women to show off their best assets. Some tops look like something a clown would wear.

I layer, regardless of the season here in WI. However, the layers in summer are obviously thinner than in winter. It can be 90 degree’s and super humid outside, yet inside (whether at work, in a store, movie theater, etc.) it can be much cooler - upwards of 20 degree’s sometimes. Layers are necessary for these temperature swings.

In addition to the temperature difference that constantly occurs, some of us run at different internal temps. My husband can think the house is too warm (with A/C running) and sits in shorts and a tee and I can be chilled sitting in yoga pants, a tee, and possibly a thin sweatshirt on or even lighter blanket draped over me.

Bottom line - I dress so I am comfortable, not how someone else thinks I should dress. I hate being cold and dress to make sure I am warm regardless of the outside temp. My arms chill easily and I usually find that to be warm enough (when in A/C) I tend to wear one more layer than most others. I’ve just always been that way and dress accordingly, which for me, means to dress in layers.

She always needs an extra sweater or a jacket no matter how hot anyone else thinks it is. My ex-husband was the opposite. He was always hot, even in short-sleeved shirts in winter when everyone else was freezing and under blankets.

Personally, I wear layers a lot. Often when I leave in the morning I'm gone until late at night, and where I live, weather can change quickly. Also - Going from sweltering temperatures outside to freezing temperatures in a theater or on set is much easier if I have layers that I can put on and take off.

I almost never layer. I own Logo pieces and have never layered them. I'm always hot so the idea of wearing extra clothes is just not appealing to me. Sometimes in the midst of a cold Pittsburgh winter I will put on an extra layer. As my grandma used to say, " to each his own."
