Mary Beth looks great with longer hair - she looks 10 years younger. Contrary to popular opinion I believe most women look younger with longer hair.

Her neck gives her away no matter how she wears her hair, but so what, we all age in our own way. I respect her for not going under the knife, I don't think there is much they can do for the neck though.

@CaneCorsoMom. I vehemently disagree! I think longer hair adds 10 years to most women, including Mary Beth whose hair drags her face down. Great example today was Carolyn Gracie who has a fresh shorter haircut and looks much younger.

As much as I like Mary Beth, I have to say she has too much hair. It's too big and too long.

I agree with Kachina about Carolyn's hair looking great!

i have caught Mary Beth on air several times in the last couple of weeks

and thought the hair is too long ....I'm not saying short short .. but I think

this lenght ages her .....

Actually, tonight I thought she looked absolutely beautiful - and younger... her hair, her makeup. To me, she looked better than usual (not that she EVER looks bad). She's a great host.

I seldom see Mary Beth due to the time she is on.

One day I did see her, and thought "wow, she looks so much younger with that short hair." Then she turned to the side and it was just pinned up in the back!

I have yet to see ANY woman who doesn't look younger when they cut their hair.

@Sweet_Serenity Thanks. I don't believe that just because a woman reaches a certain age she should cut her hair or that she will necessarily look older/younger. A lot of age is an attitude and energy, not a haircut.

I agree. I think it depends on the woman and her personality. Long hair or short hair, its all to what suits you and what suits your energy

I think it all depends on the woman herself.

The hair itself - be it thick or thin, straight or curly, coarse or fine, height/weight, face shape, her personal fashion style and life style.

One style does not fit all for sure in the hair department.

I would much rather have my hair length at whatever works best for me than what they say I should have. “Should’s” definitely do not work for everyone.

Mary Beth has beautiful hair - why shouldn't she wear it longer. When she went shorter while it always looked nice I thought it was a mistake.

She looked gorgeous yesterday afternoon with Sue Clifton.

@Sweet_Serenity those women you referenced are not the average woman, they are models. CB certainly has had work done on her face. I do agree women should wear their hair to suit themselves though.
