Is there so many Fashion shows....let's have a little variety......I don't watch the "Q" much anymore but seems everytime I do a "Q check" it's Fashions, Fashions, Fashions....

I think profit margins are highest on fashion items. These items are mostly manufactured in foreign countries for pennies on the dollar. A $50 item probably costs QVC about $5.

my complaint isn't the fashion shows in general but the same designers as nausea- Isaac, Dennim and Co, Lori Goldstein, etc. Tiresome brands shown over and over. I was told that QVC has gone into agreements with these brands or they own a stake in them that's why we see the same vendors.

@bad4257I think this weekend is unusual with lots of fashion.

Most weekend complaints ask for more and more fashion and jewelry, not less.

Maybe it has to do with the change of seasons????

"Mothers day weekend" programming for sure. Q has always themed the merchandise to the current season/holiday.

Hmph. It's easy enough to simply check the program guide to see when fashion is on, and avoid it.

I feel the same way about beauty/beauty related products...and there is even a "separate" channel for beauty..................i don't mind the fashion shows although it seems like the same old same old lately.....but the SHOES shoes are on constantly also.....i can't believe the amount of hours dedicated to shoes.....but either beauty or shoes they HAVE to be making money on it....or i would assume they would present less hours....

I feel the same way about the beauty shows....and its aggravating when they interrupt the fashion shows for lengthy beauty presentations....even when its not the TSV

@bad4257. Why? Take the time to look up QVCs quarterly or annual financial reports and youll discover that fashion is an area where there are the most sales. Compare that to electronics which was hot several years ago but is now low in sales. What you see on-screen is a reflection of what is selling well.

Fashion shows to me should just be "clothing" shows.....i don't consider all the accessories (pocketbooks, shoes, accessories) as fashion shows...i consider them accessories shows.
