isnt being "extremely overpriced" really more relative? some will say that EVERYTHING that qvc offers is extremely overpriced.

i purchase perricone and am on auto delivery for one set, some logo, some graver, some ripka and only buy when i feel like the price for the product and the price per wear will be worth it.

last week i purchased four of the graver skorts that were the TSV......two for me, two for my daughter. they are so cute and will be perfect for spring and summer. the perfect short skirt that wont cause any dangerous situations. LOL

What is overpriced is different for everyone. For me those Dooney bags are the most overpriced of anything but then I don't consider a bag to carry my stuff to be a fashion accessory like many do so for them it 's worth it and not overpriced. If I like something and I can afford it I will usually buy it.

@LilacTree, I agree with your subject heading. I have noticed this huge uptick in QVC pricing in the past 6-8 months too, especially with clothing & shoes. I don't bemoan that fact though, it is what it is. But I will say this much, it's certainly pushing me to quietly shop elsewhere more and more. And that's a good thing.

and some definitely have the "knack" for repeatedly calling others "suckers," "dumb," "idiots," "uninformed," when someone else mentions that they purchased something.

this type of behavior goes on constantly, and often by the same posters.

some people dont sit and think what ISNT a good value or is overpriced on qvc because obviously there are shoppers buying them. when shoppers STOP buying them then qvc discontinues selling them.

I don't think a complaint of QVC's pricing, and the merchandise they tend to focus on, was meant in any way to offend anyone. I personally feel that prices have gone up, even for a simple cotton t-shirt. I believe that some people, including me, are just lamenting a time when prices were more reasonable. I have always been a smart shopper, and I am watching QVC less and less. No, I will not pay $100 for a pair of sandals or a ridiculous price on anything else. Almost every catalog I get in the mail is offering sales and more sales.

Just me, I guess, but QVC seems to be stuck on selling certain brands, over and over. I have a big collection of Dooney bags, not from QVC. I shop around and get my bags for lesser prices. I understand the frustration of many who wish more presentations of good quality, but less expensive bags. I am not insulted. Ask me if I was buying Dooney while we were putting our kids through college!

Obviously there are enough shoppers who would disagree, judging by the amount of sales, but I would agree with all the OP's list and add Dooney & Bourke and Bose. I think Susan Graver is overpriced, but when on sale or a TSV, I have been known to purchase and love her stuff. Also, I would never pay over $100 for a bottle of "un-shampoo".

@LilacTreeI disagree with some of your choices. Expensive is not the same as overpriced.

When I think something is overpriced, I'm not buying but there are things on your list I wouldn't buy even if they cost less. No price would make me think I personally would be getting value from them. Doesn't at all mean others shouldn't buy them.

As for the "expensive" things I do buy here - I personally get value from them and I can't buy them for less elsewhere, so there's just not a way for me to think they are overpriced.

some of us like the so-called "unattractive, loud, garish" susan graver prints. to each his own i suppose.......
