How do you qualify? I have a Q card and it offers me the special financing, but when I click on it I get a message that it's not available to me.

I wanted to give that a try a couple months ago, but got the same message. I went easy pay with my visa card instead.

I have a Q Card and used it to purchase the diamond stud earrings with the special financing. I bought the 1/2 carat and calculated that 9 months pay would be around $47.70 per month. Today I went to the Qcard site and I see a charge for the whole amount on 4/4/18.

I spoke to a customer service representative and she mentioned the bank would bill me, hopefully in the installments for the 9 months as my special financing purchase was approved and says so in the order detail.

First time using this option so hopefully is like buying a TV from BestBuy with no interest for 12 months.

Hope I like the earriings.

IIRC, you have to go thru a customer svc rep to use special financing ...

Consider that a blessing. The Q hopes you'll sign up for it, and they also hope you'll be late with payments, so they can charge you their excessive interest.

I had purchased a camera on "special financing". I just assumed they would apply part of my monthly payments to the special financing. Good thing I happened to notice that the balance on the camera was the same after several months.

You do have to call customer service which I think is the bank phone number and tell them how much of your monthly payment you want allocated to the "special finance" item. I now call a week before I make my monthly payment and tell them how much to allocate. Glad I noticed this or I would also be charged interest.

Be careful. I did it with a computer and if you have other QVC charges, you need to call and tell them to takemake the payment toward you special finance charge not your other QVC purchases. I ended up returning the computer because #1 is was a mess and #2, it was a hassle with the special finance. I made two payments and had to call each time. The Q doesn't do it like other places. No more special finances for me. In fact very little, nex to nil QVC buying.
