So proud of Dan Hughes. He is a real "mans man". Dan was on this morning and said his wife makes him rake the entire farm. I'm sure Dan can afford a landscaping service but he takes pride in doing work with his hands. Dan also is a reknowned Holiday Decatur and repairs cars. Men like this seem to be fading from society. Always been a fan of Dan.

I meant "decorator". Dan strings thousands of lights on his farm and apparently gets visitors from town who check out his display because it is so ornate. Dan even owned a Christmas light company years ago. He loves Christmas.

That's how I feel about Dan. Take every word with a grain of salt, especially what he says about vendors. Each is his old friend from years ago.

Maybe he means his tractor or riding lawnmower rakes his leaves. He’s a salesman he will say anything to make a sale.

Dan is fantastic, enjoyed him for years. Even if he "rakes" his farm with an attachment to his tactor, I admire him. It is tedious work and he works at the Q, also. Keeping up a farm is hard work. My friend gave up her farm after being a widow for a year. Became too much for her. She had horses, goats, chickens and assorted cattle. In my opinion, and it is mine, I so enjoy watching Dan. He is a gem.

They always make him sell the Little Giant Ladder and manly tools. It helps embellish his manly image. LOL

Heart "issues" don't mean you quit living and sit in a rocking chair. I really like Dan and am so glad he's out there living everyday.

Dan makes friends easily and he had been around the QVC block for many years. When he says; "an old friend" for years, I believe him.

He use to attend many vendor shows/conventions, etc.

Man's man because he rakes the lawn and fixes cars?? It's 2018 and plenty of women do the same. So that man's man stuff is just antiquated rubbish.
