Now that these networks are owned by the same people, what are they doing to the lineup at HSN? Vince Cammuto shoes, Roomba vacuums, who else have they stolen?

You should be more nervous for the consumer. No price wars.

Vendors can still go elsewhere. Q has demonstrated over the last

several years they have no loyalty to their employees.

I agree. I hope the old lines stay on HSN. A lot of old HSN vendors have recently moved to Evine. It really surprised me because some of these lines had been on HSN for 15+ years. I am afraid that the good discounts that HSN offered will disappear too. Qvc rarely gives a decent discount.

I flip back and forth between HSN and QVC. It depends on the programming. I mostly enjoy fashion shows so luckily if one is doing boring electronics the other is most likely doing fashion. HSN does have the best clearance prices and much more free shipping.

I too am afraid this will go by the wayside. Still enjoying it while I can. Also I don't think the "added" channels they have both done was a good idea. Many people don't even get the "2" channels, me included.

HSN ... I have only watched or purchased Huggable Hangers, nothing else appeals to me. Their "sets" look cheap, and all other aspects of product, models, show hosts remind me of a "production" anyone of us could video tape in our basement.

QVC ... has slightly more appeal. Sets and displays look professional, the music intro's, as well as their commercials and website design. I did notice their Lunchtime Special prices have skyrocketed....I just know QVC isn't getting rich from me.

I think that QVC has them beat with the sets/and on screen videos and graphics I think HSN host behaviour and dress is so much more professional than Q's.

Their hosts are very rarely dressed in gym/walmart shopping clothing unless it relates to what they are selling, makeup and hair on point. No silly chatter on their kids/homes/ and other OT stuff.

Oh @jackthebear ... you are correct about QVC's hosts' behavior ... QVC hosts are extremely animated and distracting. Especially on Monday nights, I can only watch on "mute."

Huggable Hangers...isn’t that Joy Mangano? QVC got rid of her right before or around the time they brought in Lori Grenier. I have never watched HSN, but do watch Evine on occasion, so maybe I will find some of the vendors who disappeared from QVC over there someday.

I use to watch HSN a lot. Now I find myself just watching Evine. They seem to be consistent. Love their variety. I really enjoy their jewelry shows and fashion.

Oh good grief. Didn't you see the LOL. I thought it was funny. I was referring to how much higher QVC's prices seem to be, to me. Thats all.

I don’t watch HSN at all so have no idea. I am sure she is somewhere but a response in this thread mentioned her on HSN with huggable hangers.

if you thinks HSN’s sets are weak, try Evine. In addition, since neither broadcasts in HD, the sets, models and products look even less appealing. The recent sets on the Q for Fashion Day, with the large frames, looked very design forward. The camera work on the Q is always good. Evine needs work. One would think that after 25+ years, both HSN and Evine would have upped their set design game. HSN sets are way above Evine. (I do give Evine props for offering high end vendors like Mackenzie Childs and Mark Roberts Collectibles, but the hosts presenting and the camera work fall short of the quality. Just my opinion, of course.)

I agree with everything you just said about Evine and do watch them on occasion. They also sell Waterford Crystal.
