Quality supplement websites ?

I am looking for a website that sells quality, trusted supplements. I like Andrew Lessman; however, I do not like the gelatin (not vegetarian) capsules. The particular supplement I'm looking at has an odor so I'm wanting to use it in capsule form (instead of just opening it).

Please, any suggestions? Thanks!

I understand if this forum doesn't allow website links --- a simple NAME would be helpful. I can then look for the website from the name.

My husband is big into the supplements and has done a lot of research. He tried Lesman's and was very disappointed in them. He only orders from Puritans Pride and Mr Rebates offers an 8% rebate. If you have a specific supplement, I can give you the Item No he orders. I hope this helps.

Vitacost. They have good prices and sell various brands but also have their own brand which is cheaper and very good. It's my go-to for vitamins and supplements.

I order from Amazon using Subscribe & Save. I use a lot of Garden of Life products, Amazon has the best prices on them if you use the subscribe & save feature. (5 or more items being sent to the same address every month gets you 15% off of Amazon's listed price)

Been ordering everything (I take a lot of diffrent supplements) from Puritan's Pride for many years. They have good sales, free shipping over $50 and fast UPS delivery. They have a huge selection.

I've ordered from VItacost, iherb, Lucky VItamin, Swanson, and probably a few others. But they all carry a variety of brands (excpet maybe Swanson?) and I don't think that every brand they carry is "quality". I think that would be more about the particular company.

Some doctors and nutritionists I've spoken with who practice in the integrative medical field, have recommended a number of supplements from Standard Process and Pure Encapsulations. They're pricey, though.

Generally speaking, I've found very good options on Vitacost, same ingredients as Lessman's but less expensive. Plus they have an excellent customer service department and are also connected to Ebates. I always go for the capsules and softgels, as I believe Lessman's explanation of how hard tablets don't always dissolve and can pass through you still intact. Off hand, I can't say what kind of capsules my supplements come in, but I'm sure it's listed on the product pages if there's something specific you're looking for. I just recently learned about Piping Rock and gave them a try on a couple of things. There are a lot of supplement sites online. As time consuming as it may be, it boils down to doing your research, finding accurate dosing information, taking notes, and doing the comparisons.

My favorite is pureformulas.com, have been ordering from them for 4+ years, great service, never any problems. Free Shipping, no minimum and they carry better brands also like Thorne, Douglas, Pure Encapsulations and more. They are on mrrebates and ebates. My backup is iherb.com although I have ordered less from them since they increased their free shipping to $40 (recently lowered to $35 but I miss the $20 minimum).

Since they're unregulated, how does anyone know which are quality and which aren't? I hear about people hanging onto Andrew Lessman's every word, but how do you know he's not selling garbage? My guess would be, people buy because he's a good salesman.

i buy andrew lessman and he sell quality vitamins. my doctor office sells metagenics brand which is a higher qualtiy then andrew. I have never had any problem with any of his products. his cq 10 works way better than any other brand out there and have tried a few. he is very knowleable in what he says that is why people like him. you can buy good quality vitamins at whole foods. and no I do not hang on everyword he says but I have done a lot of research on my own for the vitamins I take.
