I wouldn't touch that drug with a 50 foot pole because it can cause a lymphoma. I'm being treated for a lymphoma and happy to say it's gone, but to use the drug Humira, why risk having a lymphoma from the side effects. The treatments are rough on the body. I don't want chemo therapy again anytime soon.

I have not tried Humira but I know someone who had issues with it. He said it was great at first and then 6 weeks later he started having more pain.

I was on it. It helped and I noticed the difference but after a few months it quit working. What you are experiencing could be it was helping and then quit working. But yes defintly talk to your doctor.

My cousins wife got approved for Humira, and it worked wonders for her for about 6 months. She was literally kicking up her heels and getting out more, doing things she hadn't been able to do for a very long time.

After that period of time, she felt her joint pain was worsening. By 8 months she was absolutely sure her joint pain was worse, but the doctor wanted her to continue the medication.

Somewhere around 10 months, she experienced skin tears and open sores on her body with fluid "weeping" from those openings, which is when the doctor took her off the drug. Last I heard, she was trying to get insurance approval for Reclast?
