I'm back after quite a long absence. Hope you remember who I am. Cannot explain here the reason for my instant departure, except to say it was out of my hands.

Have thought about you often and honestly hope you're still with us. Can you update me on you, Cindy and your extended family of fur babies?

Hi to you Rebecca. Of course I remember you, by your name, and I think your nic/handle was "sfnative", but that I am not 100%, if that is exact. Yes, I am still "with us", and still the same ole same ole. Ain't changed much except my age when it comes down to it.

Put up a couple of thread "call outs" asking if anyone knew what happened to you, while hoping you might see it if you were just taking a break from here for awhile. I even thought you might have changed you nic for some reason, but I am pretty familiar with how and what you write. I think I might have recognized a post of you had done so under another nic.

Never seen any that might have got my attention. It really left me wondering because I never saw anything in your posts that would make me think you might be leaving these forums.

I am really happy to see you back here, even if this is just to say hello, and ask about Cindy our furry ones and myself. It is always a good feeling hearing that a cyber friend thinks about my family even when they have so many other things happening in their own life.

Cindy any the furry ones are doing pretty good, no emergencies have come up for a longer than usual time frame. Some things we consider minor, in the whole scheme of life, but nothing real serious.

I really hope you and yours are ok, and whatever your reason for not being around this forum, is better. My plan is to stick around these forums and do what I have always done, and I hope to see you here when the time is right for you.

Well, it's taken me more days to get back to you than I anticipated, or maybe not. As on many previous occasions, was able to log in just that one time, then the door shut. After contacting all the right folks to no avail, decided to create a new email address 30 minutes ago, so here I am and glad to be back. I really have missed all of you.

I'm especially pleased to know that you, John, Cindy and your family are doing well! This is like a chocolate ganache cake to my ears. Such good news - you've made my week I dare say. Now, if I could just have your luck with cataract surgery (that I was supposed to have nearly 2 years ago...). Got hung up on a ruptured vitreous sack, which yanked on the back of my eye near the optic nerve causing an internal bleed, then the sack, in pulling its weight away from the right front of the eys tore the retina in that area. My ophthalmologist "wants" this to heal on its own and not do surgery because of the location of the tear. However, it's not getting any better: still have those torn retina flashes. And, just to make life more interesting, my Internist, who I really loved - great clinician - simply told her staff she was leaving and not returning on 24 Feb!!! So, in effect she abandoned all of her patients. My last week has been one huge attempt to find another Internist with a decent education and excellent ratings. Since we haven't lived in Portland very long, I just don't know that many docs. If I still lived in San Francisco or San Diego, I would have had a doc on 27 Feb. Enough venting. Again, I'm glad to be back and extremely glad to know that things have been going well for you. I'll be around and we wil be talking for sure. Kindest regards, my Friend - Rebecca

Must be quick at this point, as we must depart to pick up our granddaughter. Much to tell, which I'll get around to later or tomorrow. Hope you're doing OK. Am going to try to post recent photo to my granddaughter. She's resting on a batch of lottery tickets in our favorite Deli - Ira's Deli - where we go every Friday afternoon for ice cream, or grilled cheese sandwiches or whatever, with several of her friends and their moms and dads. Great time every Friday.

I remember we worked on that, before, when you had problems and I was in high hopes all the technical glitches had been fixed. Very sad to see that's not the case. Hello Everyone,

Many apoligies for disappearing on several occasions since I posted last week. Have had massive logging in issues. Seems to have finally been resolved, so I'm back to being sfnative once again.

Hope you've all had a decent week and that the weather cooperates for you this weekend. I swear we have had rain or snow or ice or freezing rain or any combination of these since October. I am so ready for spring.

Please accept profuse apologies for taking too long to get back to you. I can only type for just so long, then CRPS stabbing pains hit in my right hand and I simply have to stop. I should have come directly to your post!

Regarding the content you posted, yes good golly Miss Molly, I have been through this so many times, I cannot even begin to tell you. In the last two weeks, spoke with 2-3 customer services folks, the last one of which indicated, as did the rest, that I would hear back. Well, I never did, so called back one last time. This person said that the issue may very well have to go to corporate tech.

Now that I'm back on and functioning, thanks very much to an unknown person, though my old emails from SoCal home and work still remain in the system. I do believe I've asked for them to be removed at least 20 times, but, alas, that will never occur. So...I went into Outlook last week and created a new and 2nd account and assigned a new password. This is now working and in the interim, the kind tech person was able to retrieve my "identity" as far as avatar and data, etc., is concerned.

Thank you so much for caring enough to send off info to those folks you know here at QVC. It was right about that time that things started moving in the right direction.

Hi, Rebecca! Nothing to apologize for, not at all. I remember very well all the problems you had, and we both tried in vain to work them out. I'm glad this time around everything was resolved and we'll keep fingers crossed that no more problems crop up. If they do, though, be sure to say something and let the moderators know. In my experience, they try very diligently to help us out, but sometimes their hands are tied since they have to rely on the IT support people to work on technical problems. It's great to have you back -- you're a valuable voice and treasured contributor.❤️ I'm so sorry for your pain, and you continue to be in my prayers.
