After watching this for at least a year, I finally broke down and bought it. It's the simpliest thing, but really works. It's not as easy as it looks on tv, it's tiring. But fun! I haven't used the dvds that came with it yet.
Anyone else recently buy this?

Then, I got rear ended in 2001 (not serious, but enough where I had to stop doing some things) and basically...just got lazy. For years, I didn't do much and gained a lot of weight (I'll spare you the rest of the story)
Soooo, I'd say, at this point, I'm at the beginning/early middle of fitness again. I messed up both of my knees (1 ACL snap and 2 surgeries later, the other knee by it having to compensate for the bad one), so I no longer run (which is sad, becasue that would get the weight off fast)
Right now, I walk about 3-5 miles a day, combination of outside with my dog, and on the treadmill with an incline. I also use a stationary bike, some weights, and the bodyblade/fit board (another fun thing to use). I also stretch on an aeropilates machine, which I love. This may sound like a lot, but I'm not doing "gung ho" crossfit type stuff, I walk after dinner rather slowly just for digestion. I just started getting back into a regular fitness schedule in November 2016, so I'm not "fit" by any stretch of the imagination. BUT, becaause I was athletic, I'm finding that it's coming back easier, my pants are starting to hang more and I feel better. My main goal is to continue to just keep moving and keep going, not the "burn and hurt" that I used to do.
I don't know if I actually answered your quesiton or not...lol

I have had one for about 20 years and use it nearly every day. I started using mine on the recommendation of my chiropractor since I have nerve damage in my arms and had to stop using heavier weights and doing pushups. The results are every bit as good as when I used 20 and 25 pound dumbbells. It's so thin it can be kept anywhere but I keep mine out in the living room and often just pick it up and use it off and on all day. I also got cardio blades - 2 smaller ones to use together.

They are effective for their purpose/as challenging as you want to make them, and can be used even sitting down.

Looking for toning muscles/working the quads, or a very effective toning mechanism for the complete triceps muscle group? This is one good way to succeeding. Worth every penny to me.

hckynut(john)

Yes, triceps. That was the defining reason I got it. It's a little awkward for me to do the "behind the back" movement, but I'm getting better. I like the overhead triceps movements a little better right now

You can store it in any corner, closet, etc if you want it out of the way. I leave mine out and just pick it up here and there.

Weights are designed to weight lift, either lower weights, higher reps, or higher weights, shorter reps (each designed to meet specific goals) and lifting them properly is crucial. Anything else is just a future injury and wear and tear

I bought the knockoff from Walmart. I was using it in the kitchen when I heard a thud, and discovered that one of the weighted end pieces had flow off. That thing was like a hockey puck, and given how fast the blade was moving, it could have done some real damage. Fortunately nothing was broken, but if it had hit a window or TV screen, who knows? And obviously it could hurt an animal, child, or even an adult.

I was past the return period and the CPSC wanted a ton of documentation from me to report it as a safety concern, so I just put it aside and forgot about it. But be aware that those ends are just glued on, and if the glue isn't adequate or the blade or the slot in the end piece is irregular, like mine was, the same thing could happen to yours.

I've always meant to reglue it and also drill through the puck and blade and run a bolt with a locknut to secure it, but haven't gotten around to it.
