      <description>&lt;P&gt;was just on hold with medicare to find out if i got approved for medical fnancial help. after being on hold from 1045 this morning until 225 this afternoon i got disconected.cant call back because they close at 330. i was told to go on there website to find out if i was approved but theres never any infomation. medical tells us to go on there websights and you never can find anything.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Email/call your Congressman, that's one of the things he/she can help you with quickly. &amp;nbsp;To the poster that suggested going to your local SS office: &amp;nbsp;not all communities have this option, I lived 2.5 hrs from nearest office and a rep would come to our community one or two times mthly!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

It must be a local Medicare number because Medicare does not close at 3:30pm. The National Medicare number is 1-800-633-4227. I believe they are open 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
