If all else fails go to Walmart or any pharmacy and get a benedryl pen. I live in Florida and I get bit a lot. The pen is great, it is a liquid benedryl. You press it on the bite and as you press it, the benedryl comes out. you get it on the bite only. it dries pretty fast also. I carry it in my purse at all times. Good luck--Bites are miserable!

Any home remedies for getting the itch out of insect bites? I have many after going to 2 picnics and an outdoor band concert last week. I even used deep woods off but got all bit anyway.

Benedryl cream. If that doesn't count as a home remedy, you can try an oatmeal paste, but Benedryl cream is more effective than anything else I've tried.

It comes on a roll. You cut it to fit over the area. I got very good at cutting rounds! Once applied the tape becomes almost invisible. I used to have bite reactions to the size of a quarter and 1/8" high. When I used the Cordran it was put it and forget it. Stopped the itching within about 10-15 min and within 24-48 hrs the bite mark was gone.

Best thing ever, but requires a RX.
