Every so often, I get this weird sensation where it feels like someone has taken a string & is pulling the back of my belly button. Has anyone experienced that? or knows the cause?

It doesn't really hurt but it's just a strange feeling.

Please let me mention this: not to scare you, but my own mother's ovarian cancer was not predicted as a cause of her belly pains. This is a cancer not easily detected. It did come and go as far as I know. If she suspected it, she kept that to herself, as though mentioning it would make it real. She was of the generation that you went to the doctor and they told you what was wrong. Her doctor at the time, NO IDEA!! So anyway, don't let it go, go get it checked out!! Before it's too late. @kelshar

I had that sensation years ago. Like someone was pulling. It has since gone away. I did mention it to my doctor at the time and after sono and exam, nothing was found wrong. I am not sure when it stopped because when I knew all was ok, I forgot about it.

If it persists, please do go have it checked like I did. I'm sorry to say, but a shopping message board really is not a good place to ask for medical advice. But I was more than happy to share my experience with you. Good luck.
