topic Diverticulitis/Diverticulosis in Wellness

Does anyone have any experience with Diverticulitis? I had a really bad attack that started in January. I was on meds for 2 months and had 3 CT's and a colonoscopy. The colonoscopy was done about 3 weeks ago. It didn't show any more infection or inflammation, but obviusly the diverticulosis is still there. That never goes away.

I have been off of the meds for 2 weeks now. I still have pain in my left side but the Dr doesn't know what is causing that since there isn't any more inflammation. The pain is on a scale of 3-4 out of 10. I can't even wear clothes around my waist because it makes my side hurt s much. I don't have health insurance so I think my Dr is hesitant to look for other causes.

Any information or tips for me? I've done a lot of research online and I'm on a good diet with probiotics etc, but I'm still hurting!
