    <description>&lt;P&gt;Happy Friday, it's cloudy and gloomy and cool here but I did a power walk this morning and will take Logan to the trail.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Nomless I hope you like the sheets. &amp;nbsp;Now what are the Threshhold sheets, are they from Target? &amp;nbsp;I love crisp sheets also. &amp;nbsp;I should have gotten the TSV a couple days ago. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Laura and Judy and Pilates thank you regarding dad, he's doing so much better at home. &amp;nbsp;We still call him several times a day and my sisters who work across the street at the hospital pop in to see him too along with my hubby.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Judy I hope your ankle is ok to walk at the sanctuary. &amp;nbsp;Sounds like a lovely walking area.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Pilates good to see your staying right on track! &amp;nbsp;It's always a work in progress!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anyone getting the cute Skechers? &amp;nbsp;I'd love to but didn't.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Going to my GDs first softball game tonight. &amp;nbsp;It's about 45 miles away but I hope it's warmer away from the lake. &amp;nbsp;It's chilly. &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Enjoy your Friday everyone!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG src="https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/7e/bb/d7/7ebbd7c23fbca7a29ad50ae00544fb36.gif" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Did BodyGym this morning and I am trying to get my arms in shape for summer. &amp;nbsp;They really need it so I am all about tricep pushups. &amp;nbsp;Hopefully that will work since the past five years at the gym apparently did nothing. &amp;nbsp; My shoulder is still a little too sore for the BG moves so I am on my own to get some muscle there. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope everyone is off to a great start for May! &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Thank you for starting the May check-in. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've completed a first month with you ladies! &amp;nbsp;I don't think I can ever get my arms in shape for summer - I'm going to be 58 come Mother's Day, and I inherited my Mom's genetically flabby arms. &amp;nbsp;No matter how hard I train them - there's not much hope for flabby skin and I was also a yo yo dieter and have had many sunburns in my youth, so you will not see me in a tank top often!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That said - I had a couple of great gym workouts over the weekend, pushing myself out of the comfort zone. &amp;nbsp;Saturday evening also featured a nice stretch-y yoga practice to help combat soreness.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Waves to all! &lt;img id="smileyhappy" class="emoticon emoticon-smileyhappy" src="https://community.qvc.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.png" alt="Smiley Happy" title="Smiley Happy" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

That was several years ago. &amp;nbsp;All but one (I think) have regained much of the weight they lost, and at least one is even heavier. &amp;nbsp;Here's what was interesting...at the end of season 8, their metabolism was lower than at the beginning. &amp;nbsp;That was expected, weight loss causes that. But their metabolism is even lower now, and that was unexpected. &amp;nbsp;Also, there's a hormone that's out of whack in a manner that causes food cravings. &amp;nbsp;The metabolism and hormone changes make it extremely difficult to maintain weight loss. &amp;nbsp;You have to eat a lot less and workout a lot more to maintain the weight loss. This study made it seem almost impossible because the body works very hard to get back to the weight it once was. &amp;nbsp;Maintenance is much harder to achieve than the initial weight loss. &amp;nbsp;The weight gain they've experienced is not entirely due to getting lazy and not sticking with the program. &amp;nbsp;It's a lot more complicated. &amp;nbsp;Very interesting. &amp;nbsp;The story is &lt;A href="http://www.nytimes.com/2016/05/02/health/biggest-loser-weight-loss.html?_r=0" target="_blank"&gt;here&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Everyone! &amp;nbsp;I'm here!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Bopper - so glad to hear that your dad is doing so much better at home and that you had a nice weekend with your son.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Nomless - I've never watched Biggest Loser but what an interesting article.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi to Lucy, Laura, Pilates, and everyone else!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Today was my first day doing any exercise at all since last Tuesday. &amp;nbsp;Got lazy and felt fatigued. &amp;nbsp;Feel much better and more like myself today. &amp;nbsp;Tonight when I got home from work I did some upper body work only with the BG. &amp;nbsp;Tomorrow I'll start back up with the PiYo.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have 4 months until I leave on my trip - leave Aug 31. &amp;nbsp;I want to be in better shape than I am now. &amp;nbsp;Not going to put any pressure on myself about pounds lost - what I lose is what I lose even if it's no pounds at all - but I do want to be stronger and feel healthier. &amp;nbsp;It'd be nice if my pants did fit a little looser tho! LOL &amp;nbsp;I don't think there will be much exercise being done on the trip - other than walking and more just casual sightseeing type walking than any exercise type walking.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So, jumping back into my routine tomorrow, Tuesday, and time to get serious!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope everyone has a good evening!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello everyone! &amp;nbsp;Yesterday it was raining so I did some mall walking and stair climbs. &amp;nbsp;At home I did a half hour of Margaret Richard. &amp;nbsp;I had to bale on the hamstrings section - so sore!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I saw that article on the Biggest Loser folks regaining their weight. I used to watch BL when it was newer but I began to cringe at how the contestants were forced from being couch potatoes into doing these marathon, high impact workout sessions. &amp;nbsp;I could almost hear their joints screaming. &amp;nbsp;I don't think I've watched it since the third season.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Keep up the great work everyone!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Cardio and weights done today. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I finally got the results of my colonoscopy. &amp;nbsp;Thank goodness, it was normal. &amp;nbsp;No further procedures needed at this time. &amp;nbsp;Rec is to repeat in 5 years due to family history and to due it at the hospital next time because 2 of the 3 colonoscopies have failed and &amp;nbsp;ended up at the hospital anyway. I think they'll use a more serious anesthesia, which is a bit frightening, but necessary. &amp;nbsp;At least it's 5 years down the road. &amp;nbsp;Maybe there will be an alternate screening procedure by then.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Bopper, I hope your dad is doing OK. &amp;nbsp;Enjoy your time with him. &amp;nbsp;You're right to make him priority one right now.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm enjoying watching some of the crafts shows today. &amp;nbsp;I wish they'd do these on weekends.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi to Judy and Laura and Pilates and Lucy. Yes, Judy, sleep is important!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I was just perusing the clearance items on QVC. &amp;nbsp;If anyone is interested in the Backjoy, it's cheaper now than what I got it for at BB&amp;amp;B even with the shipping fee. &amp;nbsp;I'm tempted to buy another one. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you have any back issues or want great abs, I highly recommend it. &amp;nbsp;I sit on it every day at work and, in my personal opinion, between it and the BodyGym I have the flattest stomach of my life going on. &amp;nbsp;Took some getting used to, but I love it. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I had one of those for six years - it literally was hell.&amp;nbsp; L I hope you enjoy a good hike outdoors this weekend.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Oh, I am going to look at the Back Joy.&amp;nbsp; I have $$ on my Q Card from returning boots.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Judy&lt;/STRONG&gt; we've been in a cold, dark and rainy pattern where I live.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, sun is out here today and it's 50...went for a walk this morning along the road and then took Logan on the trail, which is still wet and muddy but it sure is nice being outside.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Dad is doing good, the dr. said he can be alone again with periodic checks so the daughters are trying now to go back to normal. &amp;nbsp; Still more checks than before though. &amp;nbsp;Thank you all for the well wishes.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have to pick up my GD from school today and then tonight she is getting an award from the Board of Light and Power. &amp;nbsp;She won a contest for drawing all the uses of electricity from all the 4 th and 5 th graders here ( she's in 4th) she won 200$. &amp;nbsp;She already has an idea what she wants to do with it. &amp;nbsp;She is an HGTV addict! &amp;nbsp;LOL &amp;nbsp; At her age!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Glad everyone is doing workouts and enjoying your days!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG src="https://scontent-ord1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/13096031_535877036597343_6674780901149391376_n.jpg?oh=e5d1f69a35b20445b3eaa3d7a4f8512e&amp;amp;oe=57A05C06" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
