topic PMR in Wellness

Hello! I know that there are so many educated and helpful people on these boards, so i was wondering if anyone else out there is or has been dealing with Polymyalgia Rheumatica. I am going into month 17 of this condition. I had actually been weaned off the prednisone and was so hopeful that I was over this condition. Unfortunately, that appears to have been a bit too hopeful. I have been in such discomfort, and just talked to my wonderful rheumatologist, who put me back on the prednisone. I was so hoping to be done, that I suffered for a few weeks, but as he said, this is a condition to be managed, not suffered through (great doctors are a blessing!). I just wondered if anyone else has gone down this path, and what their story was for the duration of the illness. I know that I am blessed that there is an end-game for this, so I remain ever-optomistic, and now hopefully in less pain. Thanks for any input!
