At one point in the broadcast he said, "I haven't checked on supply, but I think we're okay." Which was so refreshing from having Shannon tell you right out of the gate that the large size is going to sell out. LOL

He always has supply, so it's just a matter of changing over one of the powder machines and banging out more bottles of product.

PubMed research paper that talks more about what Andrew was talking about in why he takes Protein Isolate and Marine Collagen every morning and night.

Dietary protein considerations to support active aging.

Given our rapidly aging world-wide population, the loss of skeletal muscle mass with healthy aging (sarcopenia) represents an important societal and public health concern. Maintaining or adopting an active lifestyle alleviates age-related muscle loss to a certain extent. Over time, even small losses of muscle tissue can hinder the ability to maintain an active lifestyle and, as such, contribute to the development of frailty and metabolic disease. Considerable research focus has addressed the application of dietary protein supplementation to support exercise-induced gains in muscle mass in younger individuals. In contrast, the role of dietary protein in supporting the maintenance (or gain) of skeletal muscle mass in active older persons has received less attention. Older individuals display a blunted muscle protein synthetic response to dietary protein ingestion. However, this reduced anabolic response can largely be overcome when physical activity is performed in close temporal proximity to protein consumption. Moreover, recent evidence has helped elucidate the optimal type and amount of dietary protein that should be ingested by the older adult throughout the day in order to maximize the skeletal muscle adaptive response to physical activity. Evidence demonstrates that when these principles are adhered to, muscle maintenance or hypertrophy over prolonged periods can be further augmented in active older persons. The present review outlines the current understanding of the role that dietary protein occupies in the lifestyle of active older adults as a means to increase skeletal muscle mass, strength and function, and thus support healthier aging.

Berberine seems to slightly reduce blood sugar levels in people with diabetes. Also, some early research suggests that taking 500 mg of berberine 2-3 times daily for up to 3 months might control blood sugar as effectively as metformin or rosiglitazone.

High cholesterol. There is early evidence that berberine can help lower cholesterol levels in people with high cholesterol. Taking 500 mg of berberine twice daily for 3 months seems to reduce total cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein (LDL or “bad”) cholesterol, and triglyceride levels in people with high cholesterol.

I am looking forward to listening to the midnight one later.

Is the scoop of MCP = 1T or would twice per day mean 2 scoops?

He actually said 10g and 5 g, but I was just rounding.

The MCP is 5g per serving or one scoop. I used Tablespoon just for the sake of discussion and how much we're actually talking about visually.

Flour is a close consistency to both the Whey and the MCP, so 1T of Flour = ~ 7 grams

This would be great for many people with Diabetes if it would work for them.

I read a lot about Berberine a few years ago when I was researching a few things. I highly recommend anyone who decides to try this research it thoroughly first & be aware of possible side effects. What lab results for expected and unexpected changes.

I really am a bit disappointed in Andrew with his Cholesterol products. All the hype about bad/good Cholesterol is based on a theory that has been proven to be completely incorrect. I'm confident Andrew has read about this.

High Cholesterol is not necessarily bad. High LDL is not "bad" and high HDL is not necessarily "good." They need to start from scratch with the research.

He confounds me on cholesterol, too. I don't like what he says about how if he eats eggs he has a cholestacare pill. I just want to scream.

I was also surprised to hear that Muriel has a cholesterol problem because when I ordered it in October 2014, he was touting her cholesterol numbers were so low as as they were not seen in most humans. I wonder what happened (and his discussion of her liberal use of coconut oil may be the reason for the number change). But, again, coconut oil can change your numbers but my understanding is that if the ratios of the numbers are good, the individual numbers aren't a problem.

ETA: He expanded on the story about Muriel's cholesterol, so that makes sense now.

I did not see the oatmeal containers. The serving size is small so the servings per container must be generous.

I am not buying the oats/bran but I keep smaller size bottles to re-use for some of the supplements I buy large sizes of.

I use an Origami island cart with a drawer added to keep my supplements organized. I have the cart in a perfect place so I always remember to take my supps. I love it...but sure need another cart to use for my kitchen prep! I like Origami organizers.
